They were taking a breaks...a break...she couldn't believe it...still it hurt just to think about it...how could she have opened up herself like that....well she won't let it happen again...sitting in her aunts guest room in California not able to sleep she was glad about one thing...no matter how tired she was she never got those bags under her eyes or dark circles...today she would have to do that photo shoot she told Mr. fife she would...she could use the money...and seeing as he had called last minute she said no...but after last nights fight and total rejection from Dex she needed to get away...
Climbing from the bed in the guest room she walked over to the computer...tempted to turn it on and leave him a note...telling him where she was...but as the tears streamed down her cheeks she felt that she couldn't...he wouldn't care...he didn't care...reaching into the small bag instead she grabbed her toothbrush and toothpasste...and a pair of panties...she was going to have to borrow something from her cousin to wear today...which should be interesting seeing as they both have entirely different fashion senses...she has to have a pair of jeans right...
Feeling as though she hasn't slept at all...the mere two hours that she did manage she felt as though it was a restless sleep...it probably was...she remembers dreaming about the fight as she steps into the shower...the warm water cascading over her flesh as once again she cannot contain the waterfall that erupts...dropping down and sitting upon the floor of the tub pulling her knees into her chest she just sits there....a bang on the door startles her as she wipes away the tears and stands up...she finishes and steps outs the shower dries off and leaves quickly...her eyes remain on the carpet of the hall as she passes her aunt...
of coarse her aunt thinking that being back here is what has made her sad...who wouldn't be sad to come back to the place your parents were killed...Eve finishes getting the things ready that she needs...kisses her aunt and uncle good-bye and heads out the door to the location of the all day shoot...hopefully this will take her mind off of Dex...though it won't relive the pain that has taken over inside her heart...and even through all the pain she still loves him...and will love him for a long long time
(typists note...Dex found a bruise on Eve's hip...a discussion erupted and Eve told Dex about teh Prof. ...this did not sit too well with Dex...he was upset...Eve took all his words and cold shoulder the wrong way...Dex ended thigns saying that "perhaps they should take a break"...so Eve gave Dex back the phone and left in tears...then called Mr. Fife to accept a modeling job he had offered to her...the shoot is in California and she will be gone a few days...Eve did not leave a note or a message... Mr. Fife is the only one who knows where Eve is...Eve's phone is unplugged in her room ....she has her cell but it has call display...so she's not gonna answer it from people she doesn't want to talk too...Eve will be back in a few days after the job wraps up...)
