The temperatures are hot and humid with occasional rains and storms.
The wagons will soon have to begin their journey back South on migration to our good grasses and temperatures more conducive to the health of our bosk.
Due to ongoing hostilities, our supplies of luxury goods, as well as some essential goods have been affected.
Medical supplies still exist, but all care must be taken not to waste anything. Bear in mind that some may be used as substitutes in lieu of using just what is always simpler or more convenient.
All fruits and veggies in camp stores are gone. If any do still exist, they are in private stocks and would be minimal in amounts.
There are still good stores of flour and feed grains, as well as salt, sugar, and spices.
Paga, mead, and a limited supply of ale is still available. Wines and liquors are now only what is found in private stocks. Fermented bosk curds are once again becoming very popular among many Warriors.
(Though juices are not really a big drink on Gor, (an omission perhaps by JN?) we make use of them. These however, are now gone from camp stocks. Any that remain would only be very limited in private stocks.)
Bosk are, as always, plentiful. Tarsk, vulo, and verr are in good supply as well as any products obtained through these critters.
The hunting is non-existent in the areas of hostilities, though it is reported there is still game to be found Rim and Tun (East and Southeast) of camp.
Tea is still stocked in the med wagons, and in private stores, but camp stores are finished.
Blackwine, a drink normally only affordable to the very well off, might remain in the stores of the wealthiest of Tuchucks. The camp supplies kept on hand for special functions and dignitaries is gone.
The sleen and kaiila are primarily being fed by the Butchers Clan, and from fallen mounts and those mounts taken but of lesser quality remaining after replacing our own lost in action. There is also the occasional tharlarion taken from rare but unfortunate caravans. Most caravans are avoiding the usual trade routes at this time due to hostilities. It is reported what supplies Turia is getting, is being dropped along the Coast at landfalls and then taken overland to the City. It is not an easy endeavor nor are the supplies massive in amounts.
Now, we live without our luxuries. We eat quite simply, but well with good meat, poultry, and dairy products as our primary food sources.
Our Clans are still doing well. Only a few will begin to feel the pressure of lessening supplies. We still produce, much of what is needed to live. Again, it is mostly luxuries that have been affected.
