RAGNAR
Tuchuk has arrived at its summering lands. The Mother of Tuchuk has brought us safely through another migration.
Migration was difficult as I had expected it to be... but it could have been much worse.
The wagons have formed into the encampment and are in the process of unpacking and settling in.
There is much to be dome immediately especially tending to the harnesses and the yokes. All the harnessing has been hung from the wagon railings until light enough to repair and oil them before packing them away. The yokes are stacked on a hide outside the wagons to be tended in the light and will oiled and packed away as well.
The commissary wagons will be set up come the morrow as well as the other various service wagons.
The stock pens have been set up using old wheels, axles and tongues lashed in place. The sleen cages will need to be unloaded in their entirety come the morrow for security purposes.
Tuchuk may make themselves at home for now.
Patrols remain doubled and no unescorted females.... free or slave may venture beyond the perimeter of camp until our scouting units have returned and reported the area is secure.
Kiah had to be disciplined again this night and performed obesience to Nexhias. For the next three days in camp the girl will beg each Mistress present to perform obesience at their feet and apologise for her attitude and her mouth.
It was reported an Or Commander suffered an injured leg. I expect more details will be added on the situation in the Healer logs.
Dylan has expressed his desire to test for Weapons Master. I am pleased he seeks to attempt this position.
There will be much to do to bring the encampment to order. However... it will seem easy compared to our journey to these lands.
