this girl rode with a Mistress towards the Point, and made sure that She was hydrated.  this girl also spent some time visiting with the ST.

this girl used her coppers to buy a large basket of dried ginger root.  she placed it in the healers wagon, on earth ginger root had medicinal uses. if the healers don't want it, then she will take it to the cooks wagon...ginger root also makes a nice spice.

amanda

she also bought three pouches of hard candy for some sisters...giggles...

aisling prepared her Master's wagon for migration, bought some Tarn supplies for Him and also a pressie for Him with her own coin that she's saved up over time. A special thank you to Mistress Shoko for helping this girl this night.  aisling is in Your debt, Mistress ~blows a kiss off wiggling fingertips~

a girl collected some grass for the (new) vulo (npc's they were given grain and about to get water, as needed)

she's riding/driving with a thrall in/on one of the freight wagons

aisling was able to check on Master's team, on His wagon and found several holes and cracks that needed filled. aisling gathered mud and grass, smooshed them together and filled in as many holes as possible as her tiny frame could reach

aisling also headed to the freight wagon, took a small little jar of oil around to as many wagons as she could and offered to fill the outside red lanterns for those in need.

she then returned to Master's wagon with washed and bleached bones that she collected from previously slaughtered animals, that she can work into needles and such when there are down times of Migration.

{wishes she knew around what time the fun will begin tonight ~sighs softly~}

amanda just barely finished serving a Free as the order to gather and form up came down from the Commanders.

afterwards, she tried to stay out of the way by going into the kennel wagon...that didn't last long, as she was ordered out of the kennel wagon, and went to help get the tarsk rounded up and made ready.  this is this girls first migration, and she really has no idea of what to expect, or what to do.

amanda, if aisling may... there's a great page on the website specifically about migration chores.
Also, a good way to learn what to do this one found is (though daunting as it is) go back through the old chore boards from wayyy back and look to see what some other slaves did for chores and take those chores and make them your own somehow. Also, creativity is good too so try to imagine what would need to be done during a migration and think of some creative way to make it so.
This one hopes those suggestions helps! aisling was terrified her first migration and a word to the wise...make sure things are lashed down goodly or when you hit a bump, there goes your tool kit whomping you in the head or something! ~winks~

Ooo and also, somewhere on one of the IC pages, and forgive me that I cannot remember which, gave some great ideas for migration. Perhaps just skimming through will help you out  ;)
