House Remodeling

Well as some of you know the past few months i have been getting ready for the outside of my house to be redone, well the time has came, as Hannibal scared the piss out of a guy on a ladder this morning out side my window(the guy jumped off the ladder. i love my dog lol.. but it comes to mind, as I am redoing My room doors and house siding, well my internet tower is atop the roof and the cable running into the house is right at the bottom of where the siding will have to be placed so Guess what.. I will be with out internet for the next 1 to 2 weeks, until i can get the net company i have to re set up the tower and re route the cable... but good news, I'm having then re route it to a new room, making a PC room and when anyone wants to come over with there PC all they will need to do is hook up to the router and bam, they have internet.. so family... I will see you all maybe tonight, as i don't know exactly how far they will get but i will be in touch and I will have pictures of the finished deal... later all..

Well they have started on the roof. As the Shingles have started to be taken off and the metal roof will be put on)10 year life of normal roof vs 30 years of metal.. were going metal). they messed witht he internet tower staurday when i got him, as the net has poor signal so i have interntet(for now) but dont, about the time i try to do anything it times out, im starting to think that dial up would be faster.. but anyway , it is starting to look like a new house so i am Happy.. and thankfully I still have Direct tv, as of now they have now messed with that yet. But all is well. Hope everything in the room is going great for you all.. and ill have pictures as soon as it gets done..

well right now the house is roofless and sidingless, my internet is being tempermantal as it works sometimes and not the other... As right now they are waiting on the Roof material to come in and the siding, so im in a holding pattern. And the fact it leaks like a mother when i rains is really starting to piss me off. but im hoping it will be done within the next week and a half, but who knows.. until then im away so i have no clue when ill be able to come back but hopefully its sooner than later

Normal roof last 10 years?  Wow...thats a first that I have heard of.  My parents redid theirs and the normal life expectancy of their old roof was 20 and the new one was like 30 or 40.

as this is my first run around with this i just go by what i have been told, my brother replaced the roof last time and point he is a cheap ass, so like your parents i want it done the right way the first time .. so it makes sense, so hopefully it will be done within the next week..
