Summer Health Issues
« on: July 20, 2010, 08:32:34 AM »
As per usual during the hotter days it's time for some reminders regarding a few things!

Alcohol intake should be extremely limited.  Alcohol dehydrates.  Sweating dehydrates.  It's hot.  Let's not drink shall we?

Salt foods during Migration should be limited.  Though sweating to excess will diminish your body's supply of salt and salt is needed to replenish that, water consumption is also quite a bit higher.  It has not been raining, water supplies on the plains are dangerously low.  When we are on the move it comes to a fine line between keeping intake of salt and water in a balance.  Keep this in mind when Migration begins.
