is A/anyone else having trouble with msn?

I am just wondering if there is A/anyone else having trouble getting onto msn?  I have been trying off and on since yesterday and unable to sign into My msn account*pouts* it works on the other comp but has yet to work on this one.  I am starting to wonder if maybe something had gotten messed up in this computer and I do not know it yet.  I have tried almost everything.  if anyone is able to help me get msn working, I would be very thankful.

perhaps it is java related?  my darn puter doesn't mesh well with MSN at all because of java....and it's only MSN sites that are a problem...go figure..

I think there might be a virus on this computer and it is unable to be detected with any visur program and all that.  so the only way to correct this and also make sure the HD is alright is reformat the HD and start over.  but have to wait to do that untill I get a copy of windows 98

I am very close of giving up on msn and this comp.  I went to the site and did the scan, it showed nothing.  but msn still will let Me log in from this computer but i know that nothing is wrong with My account for it has been tried by a family member and he was able to get on it just fine.  so I give up with this computer and msn.  they shall never get along unless I was to reformat the HD.

sign into your email, if that is ok, then try signing into MSN, I do not believe MSN is case sensitive, so make sure You are not hitting shift or have caps lock on.

Bro that is a very good idea but ummmmmm I don't have a hotmail addy.  I use My yahoo e-mail as My .net passport.  so signing in with My e-mail might not be a good idea.  oh well.  got thing I still have My other computer where last I knew msn worked on it.  it is not just msn not working on this thing but ummmmmmm it will not even let Me try and see if there are any crits for windows updates.  so there is something wrong with this thing.  maybe a good hrd swift kick in the hD will fix it*G*

I didn't say a thing about Hotmail. -s-  next thing to try an do is Uninstall it, and Reinstall it, using same .Net passport that You used last time.

tried uninstalling in and reinstalling it so many times.  hell even completely took it off the comp and redownloaded it.  still does not work.  I give up on this comp.  My dad hs sent out some ram for the other comp and also a copy of windows 98 and a boot up disk.  so when it arrives going to redo this computer.  hopefully that works.

Win98?  probably what is wrong, Win 98 sucks all on it's own, if it's a new comp it should have XP on it, even if it takes up memory, My advice, don't even bother with Win 98. it's icky.

it is not a brand new one but it is faster then the other one.  bthis one only has a pentium 2 processor and 96 megs of RAM.  so I am dealing with what I got.  and also this one only has a 3 gig HD
