So.  Yes everything came out ok.  I do have a few pieces of tooth in my gums which I have been assured will be worked out as the skin regrows.  I hurt.  My jaw still hurts at the joint from being open while the teeth were pulled and from being pricked over and over again with novicain.  And then of course my gums hurt.  I'm trying to lay off of the pain meds since they upset my stomach, but I have to use them.  And of course since my mouth hurts, my ears tend to hurt which makes my neck hurt, and down into my shoulders.  I've been trying to get sleep, but I am lucky if I get a solid hour before I wake up.  So.  I am ok.  For now.  I have a check up appointment on Monday the 4th, and then I go in to get my top teeth removed on the 11th.  Which by the looks of it, will be just after my bottom jaw stops hurting so dang much -lol- Oh well c'est la vie.

Everything went well at the follow up on Tuesday.  It had to be on Tuesday because Michelle had to go down to St Louis to see her hubby off to Indiana for a few weeks before he ships out to Iraq.  Dentist took out the two stitches he had to put in, and assured me the right side is healing just a bit more slowly due to the bone chips still in.  However, a few nights ago I managed to pull a bone chip out on my own.  Which works because it was the bone chip that I kept catching with my top teeth.  As of right now, Monday morning my top teeth are coming out.  Which means I was right.  One spot on my gums on the right side is still sore, but otherwise I am mostly pain free, so just in time for the extractions on Monday.  But, once the pain is over, it will be better.  Now it's just getting my dang gums to heal so I can get fitted for the dentures.

one is glad to hear that You are doing well.. and Your gums should heal
up fairly rapidlty when he had his done.. the Doc put the new dentures
in over the tissue right away.. on the theroy that the the gums would heal
into the shape of the dentures.. he was able to eat soft food that night and could
move into harder foods in a week..

Irratatiing and Painful as it might be  right now.. in the end it will be worth
it a beautiful smile that will make You look light a differet person... and a lot
eariser time eating.
 
You are thought of often and Your presence in camp is missed.
