Happy 4th of July, my family. Here's to a safe and sane day (if possible) enjoying friends and family or if you are like Ray & I, sitting back and enjoying watching the fireworks on TV, but if you are going out to either watch professional fireworks, going to a friend/family's house to set them off, or just as far as your own driveway, stay safe, as it seems this is also a wonderful holiday that has people drinking and driving and/or not paying attention to the road and causing horrid accidents all across the nation.
A little side note for those interested, this is the 236th year that we are celebrating our Independence and just last weekend was the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812.
Beyond all that, I wish everyone a Happy 4th of July and if you could to those having a few drinks this evening, have one for me. -smiles and slips out to figure out if we want to BBQ dinner or just stay inside and enjoy our nice and a/c cooled room instead-
