I just returned from a press conference held by FBI Director, Lisa Cohen, at the FBI headquarters building. They've arrested a 54 year old man named Andre Polario who Ms. Cohen says is the ringleader of the major source of drugs in the New York City area.
Polario was arrested at his expensive home at 10 Riverview Terrace around 5:30 pm, 30 minutes after the FBI swat team led by David Moore raided a warehouse in Brooklyn and confirmed is was a central supply house for heroin, cocaine, marijuana, and Extacy.
Although Ms. Cohen wouldn't clarify the source, it's obvious one of the drug peddlers they recently arrested has coughed up their source.
This is a major victory for Ms. Cohen in her efforts to reduce the drugs in our city. I can picture a lot of people running for cover as we speak. Agent David Moore stood at her side during the press conference and although he declined to comment, the smile on his face spoke volumes.
This is a great day for the citizens of our wonderful city.
