Oh I bet they are.  I was just thinking on that yesterday.  Just remember she is not in the comfort of her own home, her own bed, etc.
But on the other hand, what more could want?  She has it all right now.       I bet she loves da pool.   How is laddie with everyone?

              I see, while rereading this last week's activities, I had failed to mentioned the B-day party we had on Last Friday.

The good pup turned 12 years old!  hip hip hooray! ! !

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh happy belated birthday to laddie dog!  Hip hip hooray for laddie!  My gosh 12 already?  Where did that time go to?  *leaves laddie a cup of ice cream*  Woof!   ~birthday hugs~

My advice to you fred is be in the moment with them.  Have fun and in a week or longer you can get back on those tracks.....choo choo tracks.....all aboard.  You can get on that train and start over.  Tomorrow you will have lots of company.  Just be the great host that you are and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.   ~hugs~
