Al Tommasi Meets with Diego
« on: July 02, 2005, 03:43:14 PM »
I was sitting at the Bergen Hunt and Fish club bar when I received a cell phone call from the missing Sal Tommasi, saying he wanted to come over to explain what happened and hopefully straighten out the recent shooting and the mess it created.

Suspicious of his intentions, especially after hearing Natalie Palemo's version of the shooting and the Channel 2 News lady, Bridget Martin, posting a question about who was in that hospital bed in Manhattan if Sal Tommasi was really in New Jersey according to the NJPD report.

I had Jason Maloney and Furio Giunta waiting at the door of the Hunt Club to pat Sal down when he came in. I watched on the security monitor upstairs in my 2nd floor office as Sal dropped his gun on a table and Furio patted him down. Furio followed my instructions, patting both legs hard inside and out. Not a blink from Al, his twin brother, since he wasn't the one actually shot.

They brought him up to my office where I sat him down in front of my huge mahogany desk and drilled him with questions while Furio and Jason stood guard. He admitted pretty quickly his true identity and warned me that NYPD Narcotics Division Detective Gabriel Mancini was really working for the new Zasa family.

Al said he was working in Connecticut, avoiding NYC because he was still wanted for questioning regarding a murder in the Bronx. He said he heard Sal was in trouble because he had become aware that Gabe Mancini was now  inside the NYPD. He rushed down after hearing Sal was shot and got him out of that hospital before Mancini moved in for the kill.

Al had no idea who really shot Sal, so I explained what Nat had told me. Apparently, Sal had been hitting on Nat a few times, in spite of the fact that she was dating Furio. I guess her ego was fed by Sal's attention, but then she saw him hitting on both Scarlet Summers and Summer McGuire. She said she felt offended and followed Sal out front to his car to argue with him. The situation grew into a serious debate and in anger she shot him. I guess she was aiming at his dick and missed. I was pretty pissed that she shot him which brought the police and the press into the whole affair.

I gave Al an opportunity to prove his loyalty to the Geno family. He gets the job of taking out Aronne  Zasa and Jason will follow that up by getting rid of Mancini.

If Al does his job successfully, I promised to stake him a casino and hotel in Atlantic City where he can be in charge and make decent money while also expanding our control down there. Currently, we only have Tara's Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City.

[As Alfonso Tommasi]

With my brother safely sleeping and recovering back in Conneticut, I can now easily move in for the fill assuming his identity. Everything is in its rightful place- a godsend misunderstanding has led to a tight blanket covering my ass, as Diego has given the task of eliminating Arrone Zasa- something I was thinking about doing anyways...But now that he's made it official, or it's my head, well...let's just say I couldn't ask for a better deal.

As for the news report mess involving Bridget Martin- I was a bit worried about that, but with all that has just transpired, I can sit this one out. I know full well Gabriel's ass is just as deep in this mess as mine- even more so because he foolishly relied on his footing with the NYPD to bail him out. However it seems that this very public noteriety only makes him a marked target...Not only for the the public eye, but for Jason as well.

Two monkeys off my back- God must really love me...
