Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!

Here in the States, we celebrate Thanksgiving... a day of thanks.

Though we do set aside this day for that, each day is a day of thanksgiving. Not everything that happens feel good, and some days bring with it news we sometimes doubt we can bear, but believe it or not, there is still a thanksgiving.

We suffer loss, we feel setbacks, and at times our hearts break, but every day... no matter what happens, there is something to be thankful for.

Family, friends, loved ones, health, for some, even waking another day is a blessing. No matter how bad things may feel, somewhere there is something we can hold onto and be thankful for. Sometimes we have to look for it, but it is there. Sometimes it is staring us right in the face and we do not immediately see it, but it is there. Be it large, or seemingly very small, it is still there.

At times, we feel such overwhelming loss we find it difficult at best to be thankful for anything. We all have felt it, or will feel it. It is inevitable. But rest assured somewhere there is something to be thankful for. Even in great loss there is thanks. Thanks for what was lost, even if we held it close for years, or if it were fleeting and seems we held it for such a short time... we were still blessed for holding it at all.

So on this day set aside for Thanksgiving, may all of you find at least one thing you can be thankful for, and hold onto those feelings of thanks, may joy help set aside feelings of sorrow, and may you at least smile for just a moment this day.

That is our wish for you.

Happy Thanksgiving
