I have to agree with Wapike on this one though, the Bengals are doing much better this year, which is a good thing... ~smiles~ Every few years there are teams that were on top of the world who have ended up at the bottom of the list, and those at the bottom have risen up to the top of the world... It's all part of the game, and what keeps it enjoyable for those who love the game, otherwise, to be honest, it would hold no appeal to many, except to the one's who's teams are constantly winning and getting a ton of rings that they have to build a special room just to hold them all... ~laughs~
And I would like to say, that debating teams and football with those here is a much better experience than the one I had tonight at my parent's house right before dinner was served.. ~RME~ For someone who doesn't follow football, or says she has no interest in it, she sure was adamant about hating the Steelers, and when I kept asking my dear and darling sister why, she said that she just didn't like them, and that she won't watch or root for them even if they were brought to LA, and the Chargers sent to Pittsburgh (her words NOT mine)... She never did give me a reason why and when I pushed her a bit more, which I know I shouldn't have, and asked her since she doesn't like football all that much, why does she even care about certain teams, the subject suddenly changed... No matter how much talk was going on about the games this weekend, that we missed, did she even join in on the discussion, just kept throwing those looks of daggers at me during the entire discussion.. ~RME~
So I will keep my conversations and discussions to my football family here... At least here, it's mostly civil, though there are times when tempers flare, but I see that as part of the game, and the people who love it with their heart and soul...~smiles and heads out for the night~
