My grandfather just came home about an hour ago. Due to a nasty mixture of sleet and snow that nixed school today, I was able to witness the way my grandmother's face lit up when Pop-Pop walked through the door, the way she hugged him with such joy as she whispered, "There you are... I was looking for you... I kept looking..."
Dr. McClean feels that there will be no need for bypass surgery -- not tomorrow, not years from now. My grandfather says he is planning to take his medicine faithfully and to be around for many, many more years.
