Thank you all for your well wishes on my birthday. It was a blast! Got to talk to my flutterby, despite the fact that it wasn't the best circumstances ever to talk to her (that whole..restaurant burning down thing). Most of my real time family (except my Mother, who you think would remember after 72 hours of labor..my birthday) remembered to call me. I had a great dinner of filet mingon (expensive as hell, but well worth it), then went on to repeatedly, blow all of my hard earned money from this weekend at the casino. Apparently, the slot machines don't respond very well to "C'mon, I need baby money!" or "Baby needs a new pair of shoes!". I didn't get home until 4:30 this morning, and for most of you, you know that I haven't seen that side of 4:30 in quite some time since I've been pregnant (with the exception of the Gathering, that was different..that was a year or two's worth of mingling needing to be crammed into one little weekend). At any rate, it was a good birthday, and to Beau's credit, he didn't drink one drop of alcohol, even though he had plenty of opportunities. That is true love when a Man won't drink because his wife can't!
