Title: The next few weeks...

Okay, as some know, we have been waiting for a house to come available... well... it's sort of available right now, meaning we can move in, but will have a roommate for the next few weeks... Not a bad thing though, since this months rent will be split in half, we will have our own bedroom as it's a 2 bedroom house, on 3/4 acre yard... The only drawback we have been told about is the internet, it seems the only way to get such is to go by the way of satellite... Ray is going to look at the house tomorrow and get things arranged, and we will be able to figure out what is going on... So when I get more details I will add to this thread...

And yes, it looks like we have a place that will turn out well, considering who the owners are... ~laughs~ and on another note, it seems our storage unit back rent has been lowered drastically, so by the end of the month we will have everything out of it and with us, for the first time in nearly 4 years...

Update, well it seems like the guy we were going to room with until he moved has been cancelled, as he's moving out within the next week... So we are just going to wait until such time as he does, then we will move in, at least that gives us a bit more time to get organized... and the bonus we got told is that he will be leaving behind things that aren't his, but his daughter's, who left everything behind when she vacated... ~snickers~ Also by the end of the month we will have our storage unit paid off and all the stuff moved into the new place... The upside to all this is that we will be paying $400 a month, which is $1000 less than what we have been paying for a room at the hotel, though we will have to pay the other bills that go with the house, we will have things we don't have here, like another bedroom that will be turned into the computer room, and a full kitchen that comes with a normal sized fridge... ~laughs~ Ray is looking forward to cooking once again, and I am going to get back into my baking... ~grins~

Will keep all updated as things progress, and soon we will find out about all the things we will have to get set up when we go to move in... We both are really excited, and for the first time since Minnesota we will be living on our own and able to relax and not stress out over stupid or lame roommates.. Just have it be us time all the time... Also, Ray goes in for shoulder surgery the first week of June and will be down more than likely 4 to 6 weeks, it all depends on what is found when the surgeon goes in to clean and repair the damage inside... ~heads out to do some more things and getting things packed up so we are ready to just up and go when the time comes~

Well....... We are still waiting to find out about the house, a month later and still nothing, am starting to wonder if it was all a dream or not yet... ~sighs~ But in the mean time, I had outpatient surgery on Tuesday to remove an abscess in my right armpit, I still don't know if I got stitches or if it's just packed, as I can't remove the dressing until tomorrow... My surgery was set for 12:30pm and well as all things, the surgeon was called away and I didn't get it done until nearly 3pm... ~face palms~ I will find out next Wednesday how it went... I finally got some sleep at 1pm yesterday, yes, I had been up since the day before, and I only just woke back up about 2 hours ago... Put a nice migraine in the middle when I got woken up to take my meds and get something in me... ~sighs and shakes my head~

This is the reason why I wasn't in last night, and right now, I am not sure how things are going to go tonight, as the nerve block is still wearing off and it's not the nicest thing either.... ~RME~

Just wanted to give my family a heads up... and in two weeks, Ray goes in for surgery on his shoulder as well... It's going to be an interesting month up and coming

~takes all the hugs, snugs but leaves the morphine behind, as that would land me in the hospital~ Well the bandage is off, and ooohhhhh it feels much better, the tape was starting to drive me nuts... and.. I have 8 stitches, with a three inch long slice, so he went in and really got it all... Now the fun part I am not looking forward to, is next wednesday when they come out... though with my luck, as some might know, I heal quickly and this means, I am more than likely going to wish I was sedated once more for the removal of the sutures... yes, I am a wimp.. ~snorts~

wish to hell I could find a house that has rent at $400 out here... We need a 3 bdrm minimum and need either a basement or garage tho both would be nice. and a MUST for Me is a laundry room. unfortunately not so much for My other half... He's not the one that has to do the laundry... *thumps him*

Well as for the house, it's in limbo, the guy is still there, no word from the owner if he's moving out or what, absolutely nothing... So for now, we are going to check with other people about rentals... It's nice having friends out here who know people and can get rent lowered or something fixed up so we can move in without putting all that stuff of deposits and 1st and last months rent... If that fails, we will figure something out... As I have 3 jobs lined up that are all work at home jobs, as long as I have paypal... ~snickers~

Today I get the stitch out, it's not 8 individual stitches, but one giant whip stitch, like the doc was doing a temporary closing of a piece of cloth... Though between last night and this morning I have developed an infection, I am running a low grade fever, at least right now, and the surgery sight is leaking icky pus... I go in still at the normal time, and will find out then what is going to happen, I have kept it covered, just not taped down, since I have blisters where the tape was on for 48 hours and he knows I have a reaction to tape, so this wasn't a problem, it's the area, the skin is much more sensitive here...

I will either update you, or Ray will, as I am not fully sure what is going to take place... Love to my family...

Well the stitch is out, and yes there is an infection, in fact he had to reopen the wound to drain it a bit... have I mentioned how bad that hurt... I didn't well, needless to say, it hurt badly... ~nods lots~ I go back on Monday to see how it's faring and if it has healed up as it should on top of it all... am on massive doses of antibotics, and am to wash it twice a day... ~shivers~

Ummmm not just no, but HELL NO on the bleach and salt water... ~shudders~ it hurts enough with the water and soap in the nice hole that's was reopened in my armpit... ~gags~

Oh and I just was able to get back online after the idiot in the office couldn't get onto his computer to download the cricket he missed while he was out of the office today and had no issues with him restarting the router, but when we call to have him redo it, he throws a hissy fit.. If the owner shows up tomorrow we are going to have a long talk with him about the night manager, explaining that the one who he working that shift thinks he can go to sleep at midnight, and if it's not a weekend, can sleep in til 8 or 9am and forego doing the breakfast because the only ones who are in the hotel are living there... ~grumbles~ we have 5 rooms taken by those who aren't living here and raised holy hell this morning when he pulled this stunt, and 2 of them left this morning for another place... the owner is NOT going to be happy... ~slips out to get some sleep before my head explodes any more than it already is~
