i emerge from the kennel wagon in the middle of the night. i scurry over to Your wagon, and set a package on Your porch, and return to the furs i share with sulla.
inside the white paper, wrapped with a pink bow, is a little metate and mano, and a small bag of hard candy. there is a handwritten note, written in beautiful Gorean, my studying has paid off. the note reads;
tal, Mistress. this girl is very thankful for Your help this past few weeks. she has learned a lot, and will keep studying. this girl hopes that this little metate and mano will be of use to You. back on earth, at the reservation, i used one like this to grind poultices for my shaman grandfather, i hope that You will also find it useful. and...the bag of candy is for kadi, she is a beautiful credit to Your collar.
