this girl may be away for a few days, due to technical problems. last night, during a serve, my Mac computer slowed down, and i had to keep hitting 'reload'. when i would hit submit, it would take 1-2 minutes, or so, to do so. i was gazing a a big white screen at times. finally, i was tossed off. thankfully i had just finished the serve, but didn't get to request permission to kennel, and to say my goodnights. i tried to get back on for 15 minutes, but yahoo wouldn't load the webmaze site. it took me almost 20 minutes to get onto webmaze this evening, i didn't use yahoo, and the computer is running like a snail. as a test, i posted a reply on a 'word association' thread, and it took about 3 minutes to post after i hit the button. my husbands computer, a PC, is having the same problems, it must be a defect in our wireless LAN, or the satellite dish. i am having 'geek squad' come up and fix the problem, but it could be a while, we live in the sticks, literally. you have to turn onto a dirt road to get to our house. <you just might be a redneck...LOL...>. until then, i won't r/p, it would be frustrating to all, especially to me, since it would look like i was being inattentive. i will review the boards, and post, and keep up with what is going on. when the problem is fixed, amanda will be back, and eager to serve and to be pleasing.

It might be the satellite dish... that is the one thing that will be really cranky during bad weather, or other atmospheric things... but having the "geek squad" come and look at things is never a bad idea, those guys rock... ~smiles~ and when you return, you and I can sit down and talk... ~smiles warmly~ it's not bad, actually it's a continuation about your gift to me...

thank You, Mistress, it may very well be the satellite disk. i've been trying different postings tonight, and went briefly to YouTube, although i have to wind through a labrynth before i can get on the Net, it seems to working well. this girl will get back on tonight, and see what happens. Geek Squad won't be out until Tuesday, and i would not like being away for so long.
