the bucket covers my well.. thinks a moment.. ok i dont have city water... i get water naturally from the earth... and its a reminder to anyone, like little kids that there is a well there filled with water.. back in the late 80's a little baby named Jessica fell into one and almost didnt get out so its my little reminder to everyone.. hey stay away and be careful
and as for the yard.. when i got there i had to use my fathers tractor to mow it the first time as it was taller than your character..
-
-blinks and stares- um yeah... remind me to bring like a case of bottled water.... cause ewwww well water.... gross
-
It looks good -grins-

A vast improvement over hanging the blanket over the door that night to keep out the cold winds. *S*
Well done!!!
-
You have flipped that house well.
-
What should be encouraging to people is that the house is yours and you have emplaced your hard work to make that house uniquely yours. Taking a home and making it yours, completely yours is hard work but well worth it in the end as can be seen in yours Brother. The pride that you have in being able to show it off is what the whole thing is worth. A sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. It is well done and, I know how much better well water is over city water. No chemicals, and with a filter system, better than bottled water with no hard water stains.
Good job on your house Alex. It is commendable.

Well done!!!
I totally forgot about that, the old front door on the house did little to no good to help keep the cold out. one night it dropped the inside of my house 20 degrees and it was shut, so thankfully for Rags he told me to put a blanket over it and then close the door, it actually helped.. the next day i got some sealing tape and a can of foam so that i could seal it properly.. now i actually have a door that fully works and looks good, so thanks for remind me of that Bro...
as for the water... i still have to get a hard water softener, and i have a filter system on the tap now so all is good there, i cant stand city water.. uck.. so ill take my well water anyday...
Thank you everyone for the kind words. Ill be honest if it were not for my parents it wouldnt be possible as When I got there I ripped into the house like a tuchuk into the paga wagon. they saw how i was improving the house instead of just living there and letting it get run down.. so after some negotiating and alot of hard work the place got a face lift.. My dad and I have removed so many thing in that place.. when I first got there I had a dirt pile about 17 ft high and 20 ft around.. now its gone.. I had a gigantice pile of old telephone poles they are now gone.. the yard is fully mowable as before it wasnt at all.. I had a semi trailer there just taking up space, and finally one day I grabbed the semi and it was moved.. i did that myself lol me in a big rig.. that was fun.. my brother left 2 trimmers/ weed eaters there and all they needed were a spark plug and new line.. thats it.. now he comes to me wondering if he can borrow them and wonders how i got them because he doesnt remember them at all. the next thing on the list for me is to fix the bathroom ceiling as it leavked and needs fully redone, redo all the natural hard wood floors, then i have a red barn outside that is going to get redone as well as a few trees that need to be cut down, I planted 3 when i first got there, to help liven up the place.. but I thak you all but first on the list is fix the cracks in the bas bricks of the house and either paint them a blue color, a grey color, or white.. because faded shitty red isnt going to cut it with me..
So i am glad you all enjoy it and now you all know a little of the reason why I have periodic leave of absenses.. But I will say one thing of all of this.. I wouldnt have had the go getter attitude if it were not for playing in tuchuk, I say it lightly as I havnt had a full father figure in my life, I have my Dad, as he does what he can for a 68 year old man, but until I played here I didnt know what it meant to trully be a man and just get it done, so thank you all for helping me along the way.. and this is my little way of showing the family and others who might need a place to call home, that Tuchuk is more than a room with characters, it is a family that betters you and helps you to realize what you really can be.. its my way of life now.. so thank you all

You know what. I have mulled over the images of your repaired house within my mind since I’d posted here. I think you do deserve a hell of a lot of credit, for what you have accomplished. Why? Because there are so many people in this world who never get that opportunity in their whole lives(or simply do not bother to try). The house is in the countryside, in the clean air. You have clean water. A beautiful, yet simple view out your windows. You wake up to each day with nothing to see but fields, and trees. An endless sky thats impossibly big. Thats a lot more than millions of people can say in this world.
Where I grew up? There were people living in little shacks on the side of high hills. Made of scrap pieces of metal, and boxes with no windows. People growing up and living in apartments that are the size of your shed/garage, and smaller. Living in what anyone else in this world would consider to be hell. Stench from garbage. The pollution so bad the corners of the sidewalks stained black. The running water atrocious at best. The main harbor? So polluted and filled with sludge? That there are huge flat barges. That have these massive metal scoops that are lowered to the bottom of the harbor. That snap shut on the sludge at the bottom. When they pull up from the surface of the ‘water’. Brown/grey/black shit spews out of the sides, and they release it into the back of the barge itself, until its full of it. To be towed further out to sea. I have been back in Canada now for 11years? Still to this day I cant get over how big the sky looks, or awe at how many stars I’m able to see in the sky at night.
Then theres the general populace in your country(and many others unfortunately). Who by your age? Are too busy getting drunk to really give a shit about their lives. They just throw themselves, and everything in their lives away. Waking up 45 and wondering where their life has gone, if they wake up at all.
You are a young guy. Who has a house to call his own, and took the time to fix it up. That says a lot about a person. You have your shit together. Owning your own house? Being in the country side to the point. Where you could wake up in the morning, step out the front door buck naked? No one would even bloody know! (smartass comment removed lol) I just think thats something many people in this world would give their right arm for, literally.
So. In a much more long winded way? Stunning job. You have your own place, and it looks really good!!..(for a young single guy *coughhehecough*)
So regardless of being a royal pain in your ass with my stubborness, hardheadedness, and bitchyness? Kudo’s to you, and the wonderful job you have done on making that seemingly dilapidated house? Your home.
I wish you the best from here on in.
me.
p.s; HAI TUCHUK...((used to think it ment literally HI TUCHUK..-snickerfits-))
