Closest answer wins a man's ruby ring, still on the original finger, if you want it that way.
Worst answer wins a two-night stay on Kimba's tab at the Night's Inn, on PG.
Medi, if you see this, give us until you come into roleplay to get our bets down.
And I'm sticking with Medi in the cloakroom, with the candlestick.

Lays two to one odds she is in the alcoves with col. Muster and the Professor with a pipe wrench. Will lay three to one odds if she is not doing that she is making it in the back seat of that car in monopoly with the Professor while THINKING about col. Muster in the library with his right hand!

Egawds. LOL

Honestly I think she was likely trying to close things down, talking to others... gathering wedding gifts and trying not to pull her hair out forgetting anything.

*chuckling and shaking my head*
Well, given as my sister had her wedding in August and judging by the mess left in a couple of banquet rooms of a restaurant we were in (including picking up the 1000 + single use cameras) for the reception, I would have to say that she was probably at the bar downing a bottle of whiskey. Either that or just beginning to put a dent in the mess left over from the guests at the reception
-
Bets she was slightly tipsy. gathering up all the leftover party favors...making sure everything was accounted for... and pausing to shed a few tears that mommas little boy isn't a boy, he's grown and married now.. and then stamping her foot down demanding the beginning of grandchildren.
-
Still tearing, flushed face, swollen eyes and tipsy after shaking her ass on the dance floor, spending the remainder at the table trying not to look drunk.
Thats my real answer...
Though I would like to say...getting her groove thing on with the husband in the copier/fax room while making copies that will later be found by an unsuspecting janitor or service tech, because they are celebrating freedom from kids just popping up at the house.
;D

After shedding some tears for her son who now has a wife and soon to have a family, which means little kids running amok in her house during the weekends, or long summer days, she had half a bottle of wine, then promptly sat at the table enjoying the festivities... Then right about 15 mins to midnight, she got herself up and began the work of cleaning up the mess and getting everything right as rain again in the place that held the reception and shooing everyone out, so she doesn't have to fork anymore money out for another day's use, at the stroke of midnight

(Hugs and Kisses) Thank you, Everyone, to all that responded to this thread. I was pleased to see it...thank you so much!
So many of you know me so well, that was shown by your observations, you were so correct.
The reception was over at 11:30, and so we shooed everyone out. I had had a great time, I danced until my feet were sore, and slowed down on the wine around 10:00. The kids liked Country/Western Music, and we did some line dancing, and other things. I did get the DJ to play some waltzes, and got Hubby, my son, and a couple of other young men to squire me around the dance floor...I was a better waltzer and dancer than so many of the young men.
I had made the centerpieces for the tables. They were Gorean. A simple glass bowl, about a foot across, was half filled with green rocks. The bowl was Gor, and the rocks were the plains, and the jungles where my characters have been. The bowls were partially filled with water, representing the Thassa, a favorite vacation spot of one of my characters, and then topped with three floating white candles, representing the three moons of Gor. So, the occupants of 30 tables were faced with our home, but I was probably the only one who saw the significance.
At midnight, I was a little tipsy, no big problem, our rooms were within walking distance. I was still sipping a bit of wine, and was busy recovering the centerpieces. The water had to be drained off into a pitcher, the candles had burned down and so I threw then away. I keep the pebbles in the bowls, and put the bowls back into the boxes they came in. I also grabbed up all of the party favors that some guests had left behind. They were...surprise, surprise...little boxes of really nice chocolate. I ended up with about 10 of them. Then after hugging and kissing my new 'In-Laws'...(The kids were long gone)...and clutching the top level of the cake, we walked to our rooms. I placed the cake into the fridge, and then had another glass of wine while I was undressing. After putting on my nightgown, Hubby and I...well...probably did what my son and new daughter in law were engaging in...at least I hope so...<satisfied smile>.
Thank you all for thinking of me, I did have all of you in my thoughts, r/t does have it's wonderful moments...we should always embrace then when they happen, that is what life is so about.
Be well, all of you, you are always in my mind.

Probably. Yeah, that's the right word.
