The camp formed up and made good progress breaking camp. All in all the weather was adequate for the purpose.
The camp has formed column and is encircling the now empty area, with the lead elements pointed towards Turia.
All the wagons and stock were tended when Raziel and I returned fom recon midday.
There was some accumulation of snow throught the night and the early morning ahns. We now see intermittent flurries with some additional accumulation... as well as cold temperatures though not nearly as cold as we have seen in the past.
Make ready to move as we can not waste much time. We need to resupply in Turia as soon as possible.
End report.

I still hate reports.
The wagons have halted in the wilds on the snow flats. Wind and snow the cause as visibility fell well below safe navigation.
Tend the stock well and keep the wagons in good condition. Pay close attention to wheels and axels.
The snow is about mid shin deep with hidden patches of ice beneath it. Still the ground travels well if not for visibility issues.
Ubar and the Or have not returned as of this posting. It is likely they too halted to wait for the storm to pass.
Taryn is dishing up food for those in need from her freight wagon. Turia is not too far off and any with extra food to spare may feel free to drop it off to be shared with the less fortunate.
Check the yokes and harnesses now that they have been broken in and stretched. Repaor any areas that even seem like they may cause a problem before reaching Turia.
The Duty Watch has been shortened to 8 ahn shifts to offer a break from the elements. The Unit Commanders have specific details for their Men.
Now we wait for weather conditions to improve.

One fatality - awaiting further information.
Spirits are high, wagons and stick in good shape.
Weather broke and the wagons moved on after a very long halt and slow start. They will continue to move until early evening when they will stop, tend the teams, stock, and wagons. Rest and eat, for then the move will continue.
A cold snap has taken place with temperature taking a steep drop. The snowfall at least has stopped. Now it is blowing and drifting snow.
During the cold snap duty watches will be reduced to four hour watches.
Prism, lure, and tharn have gone over Ubar's stores and have offered up the last of some of his personal provisions. Taken to Taryn's wagon for use by those less fortunate were a sack of suls that need to be used... two large wheels of verr cheese... a couple handfuls of onions and garlic that must be used... Salt, pepper, and a cask of good paga should a need arise beyond just pleasure. Three tarsk were also offered. The tarsk are crated on her wagon platform and the supplies stacked by the door. If anyone is in need of extra milk, a few of Ubar's team heffers are giving an overabundance of milk each day.
Rumor says Jakan is injured, but as yet there is no additional information.
A new girl was collared to Tuchuk. She is called maya.

Hunters Clan Report;
Kahan had slipped on the Clan wagon platform and hit his head, before falling to the ground. By the time I had reached him the blood in the snow was abundant. He had suffered little, and died within moments of his injuries. It is a sad moment for the Hunters Clan.
As supplies depleat. I have ordered 5 satchel's of unsalted dried meat to be sent to Taryn. In hopes it still can come in handy in the passing days.

I hate reports, I hate reports, I hate reports, did I mention I hate reports?
It is cold and raining. The snow is vanishing and the top layers of ground is like a sloppy sponge. Beneath that it is still frozen. The going is rough and the mud is making life hard on the teams and wagon.
Check the teams well for strains and check the wheels and axles closely. Keep the wheels clear of mud accumulation as the wagons move along. Grease the axles well. If mud gets in where grease should be, the mud will cause a catastrophic axle failure.
Dung carts have gone through the column supplying those who are in need. Stew is available in Taryn's wagon for those in need.
The bosk are able to graze enough in place that only supplemental stores of grass are needed for the more barren areas. Water is not in short supply for the stock. They can tend that themselves. Tend the remaining critters as needed. The kaiila will dine at first light either from personal stock or be set to hunt.
Conserve dung and warmth when possible. Those with room can welcome others into their wagons to share.
Wheel boards have been used under the wheels to prevent their sinking too far into the soft ground. Remember to place them back in their racks when the wagons move again.
One kaiila was reported as being injured, and was set free by its Master. Due to conditions its rear leg bent inward at the joint. It may heal enough to survive in the wild but its days as a Warrior's mount are over. Release was chosen over having the beast put down.
It is Ubar's intention to reach Turian lands in another day or so of travel, and be able to enter in two.
Rumor also spreads that Elisa Windrider broke her thralls nose. This makes me laugh.
End Report.

The ground is terrible. Mud, slush, awful. It seemed to take forever to reach Turia, but we have. The column is stopped just short of the city as the teams were so exhausted I dared not push them any harder.
The day was spent tending the stock and wagons, and sleeping as much as possible. The rain/slush has stopped, and the column will move into position this evening outside the city wall and once stock and wagons are seen to, Tuchuk will be set loose to sack... er... resupply.
Try to behave in Turia. Being so late in our mogration, we, by far, are the last coming through for resupply, and good deals should be there for the taking if we barter and haggle well. In speaking with Turian patrols, the city is well provisioned except for fruits and some vegitables. This should not have too large an effect on Tuchuk, though a few will likely miss these items.
Thus far casualties and loses have been insignificant, though any loss is a loss to those it affects. Word has reached me a thrall perished under Melanie's wheel during the last leg, though I await a more detailed report on the loss of camp property.
It seems the greatest complaint for Tuchuk is wet, cold feet and hands. Tend these to avoid serious problems!
Overall Tuchuk seems to be in good shape if not a bit on the grumpy side and looking forward to the pleasures the city has to offer.
As always, funds are available for those in need. It will be made known who will be able to provide these services when we enter the city. For starters, each slave is gifted ten copper to spend as they desire from my own coffers. Owners may increase or decrease as they see fit.
Be ready to move when the time comes so we may indulge in the softness of city pleasures as soon as possible.

RAGNAR
We have reached Turia and the wagons are in the migration encampment area. Those wagons requiring repairs are to be taken to the wagon repair yard where craftsman are waiting for work.
There is grass but it is not of great quality. It can be supplimented with some of our stored grasses as well as some of our stored grain. Unload the troughs for water or at least see numerious buckets of water remain filled for the stock. Remove the teams from their harness and yokes and allow them to relax and rest. ASKARI will have a table set up for the slaves to pick up their coinage gifted by RAGNAR from the Watch Commander just outside his wagon.
Clan Elders may obtain a 20 silver loan for their Clans if needed. Other free may thus far obtain loans from the Watch Commander when at the treasury wagon, or from Sarant as she conducts her business. Clan Healers are to seek out RAGNAR for funding for healing necessities for the camp.
Arrangements have been made for free and slave alike, to pick up a token at the city gate upon entry good for a free vist to the hot baths for a good scrubbing, laundering of one set of fresh clothes, hair cuts/braids, manicures and pedicures, and a dose of the scented perfume and scent of their choice if available. Raziel, my True... this does not include your kaiila, bosk, or any of your other critters. They can be cleaned in the encampment. Also True... just because you may find only non-Tuchuks in the baths when you get there... do refrain from pissing in their water, or leaving chocolate logs behind for them. This is not actually appreciated much and they tend to get upset.
Try to behave!!! Try really hard!!! I know some of you find it nearly impossible, but try anyway.

Turia Supplemental
RAGNAR
So far all has been better than I expected. Only one fight between a Tuchuk girl and a Turian girl. They are slaves, so none took any action to interfere. However, it seems the Turian free gave 2/1 odds and Tuchuk cleaned up on that wager.
Some procurement of supplies has been taken care of, and those purchasing for camp will add their purchases to this log.
Most of Tuchuk seems to relish the personal pampering at the baths and such. None have complained yet that has gotten back to me.
Personally... i like taking a shit in Turia. No worries about hitting a small chamber pot, or having cold snow blow through the crack of my ass and freeze my balls, or walking in the grasses of the plains and tromping in someone else's dump. I will not go into wiping with a handful of rough grass. Life in this respect is good.
Merchants seem willing to deal IF you haggle. Naturally they wish to make as much as possible, but during the slow season for them, a deal is a deal if they make coin. The cost of limited goods such as vegetables and remaining fruits are high as I expected they would be. Perhaps fruits for juices could be had cheaply by offering a percent of total value for damaged goods. They will be stomped anyway.
The repairs in the wagon yard are taking a bit longer than expected. They are running behind as once the mud was cleaned off the wagons, some had more damage than first though from the ground conditions. But the work continues on shifts around the clock so it should not have too great an impact on our trek North.
Rumor has it a girl got her nose ring also. I await further details on that.
All in all, a good break from travel thus far. Continue all activities and resupply, and enjoy yourselves within reason.

ENTRY 1
MELANIE
She had wandered through the merchant area after mostly enjoying the bathing. Though she had run across a few of the snobby FW of Turia. After being made to feel like she was less than a FW, a threat would soon filter throughout Turia that Melanie had said she would personally see to the demise of said FW. Though it would be twisted and turned to say she threatened to kill her, when in all actuality, she had just threatened to cut her tongue out of her mouth.
She has spent a silver tarn, a copper tark, and a few tarsk bits as tips, for 30 gold nose rings, five bone needles, two pairs of clamps, and colored beads for the nose rings of the women.
Also having come across maya, the newly collared slave girl, Melanie pierced her nose in the food court area.

Turia Report Supplemental
Watch Commander
Raziel
Oddly enough, no Tuchuk were confined during this final day of supply gathering, even though there were rumors of a few wishing to sack Turia. The evening was spent in the main merchant streets to keep an eye on Tuchuk and an ear open for potential problems that may have involved Tuchuk. All was well.
Each Clan Elder has made their own reports as to their Clan purchases. Logs are coming along though the freight supplies are not what we expected. Being the last of the Wagon Peoples to arrive and leave, gives us limited quality of much needed items for our trek Northward. We will make do with what we have ascertained and acquired thus far.
The wagon repairs were completed without unforseen problems. Billing settlement will be made by the Ubar before we move on our way. I expect we move on the morrow. I will sent out the forward scouts by midday and await the runners word before giving the order to move.

Informational Report type thing....
Ugh. Unpredictable weather. The past two days have been intersting. What started out as a little snow turned rahter quickly into snow mixed with rain and occassinally freezing rain. The ground is saturated with the water and it is turning into slushy muddy mess. The wagons will not roll on this kind of ground, so it seems that we are here in Turia still until the weather breaks one way or the other. So far the bosks and other animals are not having a hard time finding good grazing, hopefully this will continue til we can move on in our Migration. With winter weather, it's untelling how long this will last, hopefully not too very much longer. But you never know.

Purchased one thrall half a copper
Presented to Ubar then taken to Healers to be fixed then to be branded with a brand designed by the slaves

Migration Report.
Tuchuk has finally moved out and headed towards the Wilds. The weather has become colder, but the ground has solidified enough for us to finally move on from Turia itself. The initial movements were watched closely. Though the continuation of Migration has been for the most part uneventful. Nothing more to report than a few slips, bumps, bruises. Very few frostbite related incidences. The hunters clan wagon is now full with those staying within it to simply help conserve for the duration of this portion of our Migration. I myself even have slept, along with others. The bosk have been tended to, and they had grazed well before moving out.
Everyone should be mindful of everything. Tending to their bosk, Kaiila, Wagons, Axels, and themselves.

Migration Report;
Everyone has been preparing for the colder weather approaching us all. The wagons, bosk, and wheels/axe's were tended to before moving out. It seems most of camp is in tune with what needs to be done. We moved out without much of an incident. A couple of foolish thralls have been devoured by kaiila. Outside of that there are no deaths to confirm. Migration seems to be progressing rather quietly. Though with this everyone is alert and ready for almost anything.
end report.

RAGNAR
We have been pushing hard to reach warmer climates. Aside from short stops to rest and tend stock, Tuchuk has kept moving until last night when whiteout conditions forced a halt.
Hot food was available for those in need as well as warm wagons.
The stock was tended and the wagons inspected prior to moving out just before dawn. The cold and inclimate weather is sapping the strength from man and beast alike. Watches have been cut from two a day to four a day. I have taken pause to make this entry, change into dry clothes, and grab a piece of meat and some water... the first food break since Turia. I have ventured on ahead to get our bearings and get an idea of what lays before us.
Maintain all general orders implimenting the slight changes stated.

I hate reports more than saddle sores. I would rather have my teeth drilled than write reports. I hate reports more than a case of the shits. Did I mention I hate reports?
Weather... cold. Damn cold mighty cold colder than a females heart. So cold my nuts tried to hide up my asshole for warmth. I hate cold.
Snow... lots of snow. Deep snow, cold snow, white snow yellow snow damn deep cold snow I hate snow!
We crossed a river last night. It was frozen until we broke through into ice cold water. I hate ice cold water. Numbing water cold water freeze your balls off water asshole puckering cold. I hate cold water crossings. I hate ice. I hate frozen balls and puckering assholes.
We stopped on the northern side of the river to build fires and thaw ourselves. The stock were checked and tended as well as the wagons. Ice had to be removed from wheels and axles. Clothing had to be changed and dried out. Close attention had to be payed to feet and toes soaked during the crossing.
Three large bulls were brought in from the herd to be slaughtered and used to feed those in need. All grazing stock had to be fed from our grass stores. It is noted in the log that our stores have reached an alert status, as well as stocked dung supplies. Neither have reached critical stages, but Tuchuk should conserve as much as possible until we reach warmer climates.
The kaiila were turned out to hunt and feed as soon as they were dried and their paws checked for ice buildup. All are accounted for except for three when the wagons moved out midday. Many were fed on verr that were expendable to reduce stores of grass consumption as well as for kaiila food in general. The entrails from all slaughtered stock went to the sleen. A thrall was found beneath the snow and was gathered after the passing of the wagons and also fed to the sleen.
To add to the bosk slaughtered for camp use were three large tarsk culled from Ubar's own by prism, slaughtered by tharn, and butchered by lure. Between the bulls and tarsk, stewing them all will go a long way to feeding those in need, especially the Warriors without Women or slaves to feed them.
Tuchuk is once again on the move and will keep moving without long stops provided all goes well until the weather begins to improve.
Ubar has not yet returned, but is leaving markers for the wagons to follow. The last marker noted a course change northeast by east to compensate for a missing marker somewhere along the way. It was no doubt missed due to the weather conditions.
With so much stew being served, do not trust your farts. FARTS ARE NOT WET AND LUMPY!
Continue with all general orders.
End report.

Entry 12
Soong
The wagons halted long enough to process twenty bosk and three large tarsk from Ubar's stock of tarsk. The Riders need meat, not just stew. The stock rested and were fed. Bosk had stored grasses and grain and the other grazers had stored grasses. The kaiila had eaten and are good to go, minus the three still missing.
Tuchuk moved on and have been able to cover many pasang even with the cold and winds... as the snow is no longer deep. Now the enemy is cold. However, within a day or so we should see a noticeable difference in warming temperatures.
The wagons seem to be holding up well and the additional time in Turia allowing extra tending may pay off greatly in our favor.
Currently, only the bosk and kaiila are the only stock still on the ground not counting guard sleen when in use. The other critters have been loaded into empty freighters (empty grass storage and dung freighters) due to the serious cold.
Healers reports still pending when time allows.
Maintain all general orders and use caution around the Warriors. Their endurance is being tested and their tempers and survival instincts are showing.
Ubar has still not returned, but his markers are still being seen.

**Small Report**
Taryn Iona
Senior Healer
Anyone who has no one to care for them, but this is mostly for the men who have been riding and guarding our wagon columns since we have left Turia. There are 3 freight wagons set up to cook bosk steaks, as well as tarsk will be cooked and served as well. We also have hot chocolate, hot herbal tea, warm milk, black wine (in limited quantities) as well as water, with all this snow that is the one thing we will not run out of anytime soon. There is also my own wagon set up to take in any Warrior who wishes to rest himself inside for a few ehn or ahn, there is always a fire burning to keep the wagon warm at all times, and warm blankets to curl up under if you so wish to take a few winks of sleep. There are also other wagons set up down the wagon column that are set up the same way, to care for those Warriors without Women or slaves to care for them, check with a healer and they will either direct you to the wagons, or they will take you, as the wagons are run by other Healers who have the extra space to take in any who need to get warm.
Also keep check on fingers and toes while we are stopped, if anyone notices that the skin has turned white and you have little to no feeling in fingers or toes, get yourself to a healer who can help get warmth back into your extremities. Frostbite is extremely dangerous and if left untreated you may lose fingers or toes, or worse hands and feet. This is why it is imperative that you keep all parts of your body that will be exposed to the cold covered, including your face, as your ears are also one place that no one thinks anything will happen to them. Use your gloves, wind scarves and wear layers of clothing as well as a coat and/or cloak. Hopefully soon we will be out of this extreme cold and into warmer weather, but until then, if you aren't sure if you might have the start of frostbite, come to the medical wagon and be examined, that is what we are here for.

Entry 13

The wagons have stopped at the foot of a long icy slope. The teams had to rest before starting this portion of the trek. They have been well tended, and the wagons have been checked over for any issues that may endanger others... or so it has been relayed to me. When we break camp we will begin the climb which I expect will prove difficult at best... but I know it will be easy compared to the downward slope a few pasang ahead.
When the wind eases the temperature does feel a bit warmer, but when blowing it is still extremely cold. The positive aspect is that snow is no longer slowing the wagons. For the most part the deep snow is now behind us.
Another twenty large bosk bulls have been issued for meat. This should last for a day or so if properly rationed given the massive size of the Mother of Tuchuk.
The stored grasses and dung are still within acceptable levels barring any hardship or disaster. The smaller dung carts have travelled through the column distributing rations to those in need. Empty dung wagons have been used to dry and store fresh dung from this pause in travel should a smaller emergency supply be needed.
I have heard the journey has been hard on the camp sleen, but have not yet been able to meet with NightStorm to get an official report to determine if this is fact, normal, or just the usual rumor. All the innards from the twenty processed bosk have been set aside for the sleen. Also, two old kaiila that succumbed to age have been moved to the outside of the sleen wagons.
Rest, eat, and get as warm as possible. When next we move the short downtime will be appreciated.

I have looked over the teams and they are in no condition to take the icy climb. I will explain to Ubar and take full responsibility for my decision. Another night of rest and feed should leave them fit enough to move on. I cannot in good conscience force the Mother of Tuchuk to levels above their endurance that could cause permanent damage or injury needlessly.
There is still fresh meat available for those in need. I have also cut the Warriors on duty watch to half their strength for the night so they may get some much needed rest. They can be awakened should the need arise. Since there has been no armed threat as yet, Many old retired Warriors have volunteered to stand the watch and lend their eyes for security.
Large cauldrons have been set up and snow has been used to provide hot water for Tuchuk to clean up with. This is not an order to fully bathe, but a suggestion to use only what is needed to freshen up and feel cleaner. While doing so, pay close attention to fingers, toes, ears, and noses. See a Healer if unusual color is present, loss of sensation, or pain becomes apparent. Warriors... at least check for saddle sores. It is likely too much to expect you to wash your asses until we reach warmer weather, but do at least check.
I hate reports.

I returned to the wagons before dawn to see all were in place at the base of the incline. Normally I would have been annoyed at the delay, but endless sky takes care of us. It was a sunny day and with the sun brought slightly warmer temperatures. The winds were more normal and some patches of earth became visible. We move tomorrow. Another night's rest will not be amiss. The ground should remain hard even if some of the ice is melting away.
I know what still lies before us... and rest will be needed.
Maintain all general orders. I intend to sleep and get something to eat before we set out on the morrow.
End Report.

**Healers Report**
There have been a couple of severe cases of frostbite to both hands and feet, as well as to the ear tips, though a couple of toes and fingers were lost, they are alive and healing well so far. They are checked on twice a day, to change dressings and to immerse fingers and/or toes in warm water to keep the circulation going.
The men who have been suffering from saddle sores, agrimony/blue grass salve has been made up and will be passed around this evening. Apply up to three times a day to ease the pain and discomfort from the sores. The agrimony will help heal the sores and keep any infection from starting as we are not able to bathe as regularly as we are normally used to and the blue grass is a numbing herb, that will numb the area and remove the discomfort for a short period of time.
In 3 separate freight wagons located in key areas of the wagon columns, there is a fire going outside to cook meat for those Warriors who have no Woman or slave to care for them, there is also 2 freight wagons set up to take in those who wish to get either a few ehn or ahn of sleep, there are blankets, furs and a brazier burning inside each of those freight wagons, as well as Taryn's own wagon, which she has opened to any and all Warriors who wish to lay their heads down for as long as they wish, her 2 thralls and slave are there for any needs or wishes that they may want and the fee for the use of her slave alexis is waived until we reach our new camp. There should be no worry about her sleeping in that wagon, as she is currently sleeping in either the front cooking wagon or in the inner circle medical wagon.
I have ordered Taryn off duty for at least two days, though I know she will only do this for one day, but she is currently in the medical wagon on one of the cots sleeping, as I slipped something into her tea to get her to sleep. From what I have been told she hasn't slept more than 2 or 3 ahn since we have left Turia and I knew that if I didn't step in, she would drop from exhaustion at the wrong place and time. So I ask that no one call her into service, at least for the rest of this night and into the late afternoon today, though if an emergency comes up and everyone is needed, then she will be wakened and pushed into her clan duties.

The ground is a mess. The ice has mostly melted and now we are left with mud. The wagons used their wheelboards so starting out will not be so bad.
Tuchuk did suffer a few casualties during the venture up the slope:
Sarant............... Injured..... awaiting report.
Ping.................. Killed........ cause of death crushed skull.
Thrall #2872....... killed........ cod gored by bosk.
Thrall # 4411...... killed........ cod crushed by wagon.
Leeu................. killed........ cod trampled by Mercy's kaiila.
Bhingh................injured..... wagon rolled.
One bosk was made lame and became food.
One medium freight wagon was lost. Salvage operations were conducted and goods were divided and placed in other wagons for transport. Wagon was stripped of all useable parts including broken wood and wheels. One wheel was undamaged. All the remains is the heavy wagon platform which we have no way to transport.
The dead Warriors were collected and placed in the med wagon to be taken care of prior to their pyre after we make the downward slope.
The dead thralls we placed on NightStorm's wagon platform for sleen food.
Sarant was last seen headed for the med wagon.
We camped upon the flats above the slope, and I hope to make as good of time as possible, perhaps even taking the downward slope if the bosk and wagons are able without resting. I have my suspicions this may not be possible due to the condition of the ground.
End Report
It was however bright and sunny today, though still on the cold side. At least the heaviest of winter clothing was not needed.

Healer's Report
Sarant was seen to and treated after a hard fall from near the top of the incline that the Camp had travelled up. When the medics got to her, she was unconcious and as of now, still has not regained conciousness. The back of her head had been bleeding some, that was cleaned and stitched up securely. There was also a stick that had been pushed thru her right upper thigh, it had missed the bone, thankfully. Once she was in the medical wagons, it was removed and the wound cleaned and stitched up. Her left ankle was slightly swollen as well and wrapped. So far her vital signs are within normal limits, her eyes are reactive to the light. Once the wagons stopped their movement, an IV was established on Sarant to give her fluids as well as antibiotics in case of infection from her cuts and holes. She is made comfortable in the medical wagons and is being watched closely.
During the movement over the muddy flats to where the downhill slope is, the medical wagon that Sarant was in struck a couple of large rocks which caused most in the wagon that were not sitting or secured down to fall and or bounce around. No serious injuries were reported, mostly bumps and bruises. However, there were 7 bottles of the Saline solution for the IV's broken as well as 5 bottles of the agrimony/blue grass salve. Other than that, the mess was just scattering of some supplies that had not been secured properly. It was quickly cleaned up and the inventory taken.

I hate reports. I will be brief.
The wagons sit, waiting to begin the trek down the slope. Make sure everything is ready.
The weather is improving, and we actually had a day that was warm enough midday for the Men to get rid of their winter coats and hats and opt to wear a thick warm shirt beneath their leather jerkins. The sun and warmer temperature has had a positive affect on the downward slope. Although slight, it does seem less soft than the upward slope and the level ground approach was.
Boris reported to me something about Merci sitting on Sarant's face during the last move. I did not wish to seek further details. Some things are best left unsaid I think.
The Commanders and Ubar decided the best route to take is straight ahead rather than the only other wagon viable route.
Jimchak relayed that Melanie seems to be injured in some way, and he gave her some willowbark of his own to ease the pain. Hopefully she will be checked, or rechecked by a Healer.
Make ready to move, then relax and get some rest.
Maintain all the current general orders.

Tuchuk took the downward slope. It was by far not easy, but was accomplished with minimal casualties.
An old Man passed on, seemingly due to age. Will await the official Healers report. He left behind no Sons, Daughters, or Companion. His belongings have been added to the camp coffers for final disposition.
Raziel's living quarters lost its rear axle and temporary repairs have been made.
A freight wagon broke an axle and has been repaired. A backup axle was used, so a replacement must be obtained when we resupply at The Point.
A stowaway was found in another freight wagon, and was collared to camp and named reese.
JUNIOR... BERAT's successor suffered a strain or sprain to his right leg. Shylina is tending him but it is unlikely he will be pulling as part of my team for awhile.
My wagon suffered a destroyed brake and slight damages to my stores inside. I am certainly going to miss those four bottles of palm wine. I only have three bottles remaining in my stores as I was late in procuring more in Turia. Someone had already cleaned the merchant out. Also lost were a case of empty liquor bottles, a cask of old meade, some raided glassware, and a case of wine.
The wagons halted in an area where the ground was firmer and has natural springs. Fires were built for cooking and the cauldrons prepared to heat water for bathing and other essentials. I am uncertain if Tuchuk will move forward, but that potential is always present. I leave that to the morale of Tuchuk to decide. If spirits are low and the stock require additional rest... we will remain in place for another day. If all looks well... we shall move on.
We had a sunny day this day, and now the temperatures are definitely starting to rise. The grass in the area is the best we have come to, but is still not top grazing land. It will however support our grazing stock and is a welcome spot to them especially after the dried grasses, grains, and having to root up grass from beneath snow and ice.
Maintain all current general orders.

The wagons remained in place, the grazers relished the improved grass, and Tuchuk made use of the springs. Fresh food, relaxation, it seems to have given rise to morale and energy.
Most kaiila have returned, and the others are expected after feeding.
Ubar has gone ahead to check the land before us.
Nothing new to add.

Healer's Report
There was an incident between one of the Hunter's Clan and an Outrider. Seems that the young Hunter had been aiming at a tabuk and missed, shooting the Outrider in the left thigh. The Outrider then proceeded to seek retribution in the form of a lance to the face of the Hunter. Both were brought to the medical wagons and treated.
Although as soon as the two got into the wagon, Taryn and Leticia were called away to assist in a difficult birthing in another wagon. flame, chels, Sarant, and Merci attended the Outrider and Hunter, overseen carefully by the healers that were left in the wagon and not out on other calls for assistance.
The Outrider had a barbed arrow stuck in his left thigh, lodged against the bone. It was carefully cut out and the hole packed with gauze soaked in healing herbs. His leg was reset then splinted as well due to the fact that the arrow was lodged into the bone. The packing will be changed twice a day and he will be carefully watched for signs of shock. An IV was also established by a healer in case antibiotics were needed to be given. There were no complications wit the Outrider.
The Hunters face was busted open, his nose broken and lacerated across the bridge of it, his eyes were swollen shut and blackened, and he was bleeding and unconcious when he got the medical wagons. The Hunter was taken inside and the blood cleaned up and bleeding controlled quickly. A healer oversaw the setting of the Hunter's nose. The smaller and shallow lacerations were cleaned well then treated by flame with honey salve then wrapped. The deeper ones were stitched up by Merci. Bluegrass salve was applied as directed by the healers, both before and after the stitches were in place. Bandages were applied as well. Vital signs are being monitored by the healers and the Hunter is being watched closely for signs of regaining conciousness a well as for signs of shock.
chels took a tumble into one of the springs and sprained her ankle as well this night. Her limb was packed with mosspaste and then wrapped. She is currently in the medical wagon, keeping weight off of her foot until released by one of the healers.

See prior Healer report for details.
Tuchuk continued moving stopping only for brief rest periods to allow the stock a break. Temperatures are warming and the winter clothing may be packed away.
Good time has been made and we are currently stopped by the last small river and water source before the River of Tears. The bosk and other grazing stock are enjoying good grass and cool clean water. Tuchuk checked the wagons and many have been utilising the river to wash clothing and their persons, as well as some of the muddier stock.
As stated, it is a small river perhaps waist to chest deep at most with a good firm bottom at the crossing Ubar has marked. The ground entering and exiting is good and solid with a flat rock base. This should keep the mud to a bare minimum if any mud is created. The ground is nice and firm. One can tell we are on the outskirts of the Cartius region.
Though in good spirits, it is noted that as always Tuchuk is preoccupied with the knowledge of what the RoT may bring this season.
Thus far plenty of game has been seen though as of this reporting there is no reports of Hunters taking any game. I contribute this to the Clan Elder being injured and the accidental incident of the night before last.
I await a Healers report on the birthing situation.
I wish to state for the record, even though I hate reports... RAZIEL ACTUALLY BATHED THIS DAY! All of Tuchuk bid him THANKS!
It was reported Tuchuk could have had some river fish for dinner, but none really desired to risk eating them. Allegedly Merci removed her boots and soaked her feet in the river and the fish floated to the surface dead and washed downriver.
Be ready to move when the command is given. We should reach the RoT within two days time. Ubar, reportedly is there now checking the crossing.
Maintain all current general orders.

Taryn Iona
Senior Healer
Tuchuk has three babies among it's numbers this migration, two baby boys and a baby girl. The woman, Betrice, who was the reason that both myself and Leticia were called away to tend to, had been in labor for nearly 2 days, as well as being 3 hands early, and when it was evident that she wasn't going to deliver normally, so a C-Section was performed. Betrice and son are resting comfortably, mother is healing well, but for another day or two is bed-ridden to keep from tearing the stitches in place.
All new mothers are resting comfortably, two of them have already moved back to their own wagons with their new bundles of joy and Companion to begin the road of nurturing and raising these babies to be an asset to Tuchuk, if they survive to adulthood. Leticia and I have assigned the two new mothers a healing slave to help them around their wagons, as well as a Healer to check on them for the next 4 hands or so, to help them settle into a routine and to make sure that they are able to get some rest during the first month.
Myself and Leticia have returned to the main medical wagon this afternoon and are seeing to the patients that are still guests of our wagon. Either myself or Leticia will have a report to give when we are able to assess the situation, though it probably won't happen until after we cross the River of Tears this day.

Not much to say. The river is wide and deep with the current moving faster than I would like for crossing. I expect a storm in the next day or so, andthe crossing must be made now or the river may be impassible for an unknown amount of time.

Healer's Report
After a sucessful crossing of the River of Tears, a few were taken to the medical wagons, or sought treatment on their own. A full report will come soon from the Senior Healers as to the exact numbers.
Sarant was taken from one of the fires on the Northern side of the banks back to the medical wagon when her recently injured leg cramped up on her and gave out. So far there doesn't seen to be any damage done to the injured thigh and if by morning, nothing else shows up, she will be released once more from the wagon. She was made warm and comfortable and watched over, her vital signs monitored as was her injury.
NightStorm also made her own way to the medical wagon to be checked over. A cask hit her right arm during the Crossing. Her arm was misshappen somewhat, swollen and bruised. The Healers found that it was a complete fracture and the bone was reset and splinted. NightStorm was given willowbark to chew for the pain and kept in the medical wagons overnight to be checked by a healer in tomorrow to see how she was doing.
Taryn made the crossing, but immediately upon coming up onto the northern bank, she collapsed. It is yet unknown if the collapse is from exhaustion or something else. She was carried to the medical wagon by Boris and laid in a cot to be checked over.
During the crossing, a baby girl was swept into the RoT when the wagon she was in was overturned. The Woman that was with her was lost to the River, we are still waiting to see if she turns up or if she will be one of the ones lost. Merci brought the babe to the medical wagon to be checked over. So far unless something turns up, the baby seems to be in good health and does not seem to be very old at all. Perhaps it is one of the ones that Taryn recently delivered. Once Taryn wakes up, she might be able to ID the babe. The babe's family will be searched for as well.

Tuchuk made the crossing. Loses and casualties unknown at this time. A full accounting will be made as soon as possible.
We halted on the Northern side of the river to rest. Check the critters closely as well as the wagons, harnesses, and supplies. Eat, rest, and hopefully we will continue onward if the bosk are rested and able.
The storm to the South of us is slowly starting to lose its force and threatens us only.
The main herd crossed upriver of the wagons suffering only a handful of casualties according to reports.
Patrols will be made downriver searching for survivors as long as feasible.
For now, exhaustions claims many of us and the rest will be appreciated.
We should only be a few days now from our lands. The temperature is warm though the crossing was cold. The wagons are slowly assembling in order and will be organised by dawn. The Warriors will maintain the watch. As of this reporting much is in chaos as is to be expected.

Ubar set out to see where the herd is intending to stop. He has not yet returned.
We had hail this day. Large damaging hail in volume.
The stocked needed another day of rest, and with the hail, returning Tuchuks that were missing after the crossing, the wagons were held in place.
A healers report will have to follow when all info is gathered.
A few kaiila broke free during the hail but did return later. Some damage was taken to wagon domes but as of this reporting it is nothing that cannot be fixed rather easy.
Aside from the cold of the hail, the day was hot and the evening temperature seems to be holding at a comfortable level.
Continue the river patrols and maintain all current general orders. Tomorrow we set out for the next leg of our journey.

Healer's Report
The bandaging on NightStorm's arm was undone then redone due to it was originally placed on too tight. She has movement and feeling in her fingers and hand and it looks to be healing well for now. She was released from the medical wagon with orders to take it easy and return tomorrow for it to be checked over again. Upon exiting the medical wagon, the railing she was leaned against broke and sent her to the ground from the platform. A thrall was there though and took it upon himself to break her fall. The thrall did not survive and was taken to be sleen food.
Commander Soong is currently in the medical wagon as well. He took a hard fall from the wagon platform due to the slick conditions during the hailstorm, down the stairs, and nearly tore his ear off, knocking him unconcious. The ear was salvaged though and sewn back into place. Bluegrass salve was placed on the stitches and then it wrapped up. He is currently still in the medical wagon being tended to. Cassius was informed of the Commanders injuries.
A steady stream of injured people were seen starting to come into the medical wagon. A lot of head injuries were seen. They ranged from lacerations and deep gouges to large knots and bumps. There were also many injuries to limbs and shoulders of many people who had not caught shelter quick enough or who had fallen in attempting to get to the shelter.
One warrior has the last two fingers on his left hand chomped off by a kailla.
A complete report of injuries will be forthcoming once the night is over with and everyone seen to as injuries are still coming in.

I hate reports more than sloppy seconds. I hate reports more than sand in my crotch. I hate reports more than blueballs. I hate reports more than constipation. I hate reports more than finding sleen shit in my furs. I hate reports more than Ubar's far.... well... maybe not that much, BUT I HATE REPORTS!
The wagons have kept rolling since leaving the RoT. We have slowed for water, and to give the stock a brief respit, but aside from that we have kept rolling. We have reached Tuchuk lands. We will be making our new camp before day's end.
The herd is intact in the new grazing lands and the grass is green and rich. Ubar is at the camp area plotting where to place the wagons. I know he will be happy to lay his head down and sleep for a change when all is in place.
Though all are exhausted, morale is high. Overall it has been a rather calm migration this time compared to others.
Keep the teams moving at a slow pace as they are almost done in. They will get a rest when camp is set up.
Until then, maintain all current general orders.
