I'm finally in round two of doctors for my ankle. The doctors I go to now are the team doctors for the Tennessee Titans. Yesterday he decided to try a cortisone injection before thinking about surgery.........If I could have, I would have popped his head off and shoved it up his ass, all the while telling him how the spray freeze shit would make it hurt less....*rme* But, at least I AM walking with a lot less pain today. I hope it works and I can avoid surgery.

I know the cortizone shots did work for my shoulder with the tear in the rotator cup. I hope you do get decent relief NS

MEEP...!!!
That should help it hurt less. Well... after the owies from the needle go away.
::) :D :-* :-* :-*

I hope the shot helps. I had some trouble with my knee a couple of years ago, and had cortisone injections that helped a lot. Still, it ain't no fun!
Take care!

Hear you on the ankle department. On my first field exercise out of basic I rolled my right ankle really bad. Dropped ten feet into mushy grass and not even my combat boot could keep my ankle straight. Grade two ankle sprain. So bad that I couldn't walk. Stretched out the anterior ligament so much that even two years later despite all the physiotherapy in the world, it still wants to keep rolling over, no strength. Even broke a piece of bone about the size of a quarter inside the ankle. Cortisone wouldn't cut it. Got surgery on it last year to repair the ligament damage and remove the bone fragment. Will probably never be the same.
Hang in there. Hopefully you'll get to avoid the knife.
