Ok, we have been stagnant for a very long time. And I understand that all of us has had issues to deal with. Time to get back into things. Soundoff! Show me who is still here and ready.

I've written, deleted and re-written this reply 3 times.
Some of us have been in camp. But quite honestly, it's hard to feel like roleplaying when no one else seems to give a damn. I'll try to get more motivated, but others have to do their part too.
I'm really biting back some things I want to say....and that's probably best at this point.
Long story short....I'll be back in camp.

With all due respect, why not just say it? Get it out there and off your chest and clear the air, so we really can start again. I read your posts and wondered for a moment if I maybe I made a mistake. I didn't just scribble my name up there so it looks good on a computer screen. I've been trying to get myself back home for a long time. When I read that initial post I was grateful for the extra nudge. Still, I had to search myself and see if I really can make that commitment, with all the energy and emotion that comes with it before I signed my name. Maybe it's just me, but it's hard enough to attempt to come back, in the best situations. With the added anger or resentment, it's going to make it that much harder. If I'm out of line or out of my mind, I'd rather you tell me, than feel it and not.

With all due respect...I decided to stop myself because if I have something to say to someone, I will say it to them. I do not need the safety of a public forum. Further, I am not angry or resentful. I just am mature enough to have the self-control to self-monitor what I say as to what will be helpful or hurtful. If I have not spoken to you in private, then don't worry about it.

While yes, being in the army doesn't exactly leave me alot of free time, I can usually find some time during the week to check the whochat. I've been looking forward to seeing an active room for the better part of a year.
I'm on course right now for the next seven months, but I am here, and studying permitting, I want to return home.

Thank you for the kind reply. I never did understand why people announce "I have something to say" and then say "but I'm not going to say it".(Other than changing their mind or being passive aggressive). If they aren't going to say it, why make that statement, in the first place? For some reason, I read you and your flame's posts as being negative and selfishly didn't want to add more stress to my life. For that, I apologize. For now on, I'll concentrate on studying and actually spending time in camp.

I now feel the need to say something, kiah. I have noticed a lot of lip biting and passive aggressiveness in your own replies on this thread.
Returning to camp should be a joy, and should come naturally. Even if it does feel strange to be back at first, in the end result it should be a positive experience. Not stressful or full of resentment.

It would be nice to see you return as you were. Not a slave who is full of added anger and resentment towards camp, or the others that have returned to it.

Like most, I would assume, I have plenty of stress in rt and I'm not looking for more.
There was no anger or resentment towards anyone in my post. I've already apologized to Mistress Nightstorm for my interpretation of those posts.
I too apologize to Master Raziel. I should have left my initial reply and kept the rest to myself.
However, your own post, "Sarant-OOC", was no simple sound off. You mentioned that others couldn't be bothered to rp.

I did not mean to say that I was returning with anger and resentment. I felt there was an undercurrent of anger and resentment for people not being around while others were and perhaps more that I don't know and certainly don't need to know. I never thought my return was harder than anyone elses. It was years ago but I remember what it is like to be in an empty room night after night. It stinks. I obviously have more to relearn besides all the slave testing. I apologize to all of Tuchuk.

I would just like to ask a question, why is it that I see you on PoD in the Bazaar on most nights while we, NS, Merci, myself and others are in camp trying to get it back up and running? I'm sorry, but this irks me quite a bit, you have clan duties as well as Outrider duties that need to be done, why don't you come into camp and do them, or just come into camp and do something constructive.
I am sorry, but this is really starting to irk me, as NightStorm, Merci, sage, kadi, flame and myself have been coming into camp and working our asses off. I understand that there are those who have been dealing with r/t and I completely understand that as r/t comes first always. I am starting to wonder if it's even worth it anymore, especially when we as Free Women and slaves are not allowed to travel unless we have an escort of a Free Man in camp. How are we supposed to ask, if you aren't around to be asked.

Most nights ? I have been in there twice recently as I was asked by a friend to visit. Most nights right now, I'm doing homework and studying. If I didn't happen to look at the whochat, then that is my fault I guess. Kudos to all of you for your efforts. But you are choosing the wrong person to direct this to. I recall being in the room almost every night over the course of last year, sitting by myself, doing constructive things, when not a single person was around to come in. Not even you.
If you have a problem with how I spend my free time, there are more appropriate ways to go about it instead of calling me out in public. Like messaging me in private, which is where I will more specifically address your issue if you choose to pursue it further.

Wrong place for argumentative discussions. Taryn be wary of your chastisement of a free man. If there is issue then either take it up with them in PMs in an OOC manner or with Council to address the issue. That is all I will say on the matter.

I know I haven't been around...for a long time, yes I know. I just can't seem to find balance in this dreary hell I've created for myself called life. And even though I am not around, I am Tuchuk in my head and in my heart, and there is no other place I call home except MTC. I know I should definately show my love for the room, unfortunately, life dictates otherwise, and I'm not supposed to have any self satisfaction. But I love MTC, and I love da Fams, and I always will, regardless if I am here, or not....Who knows? You all might see me soon!

As of about 3 days ago....internet is back. however, with the current work schedule, time is a HUGE issue on coming back into camp, that and to be very honest....saying that i'm rusty is a huge understatement.
