Title: When It Rains......

Just got back from the doctor.  Two weeks ago, I thought a pulled muscle in my back.  Then the rash started and the pain radiated to my lower back and now toward my stomach.....diagnosis....shingles.  Can we say...excruciating pain?

Then on top of that, today I got a letter stating they are not rehiring me for next school year....budget cuts.  But they will be re-evaluating the situation later this summer, so don't lose hope.  I can't afford to wait around for a maybe, so now I'm back to filling out applications.  I'm 56 years old and too damn old to be looking for a job every year.

And shingles are stress related???  Some of you know the rest of the story....heh...go figure.

....it pours, tornado's, and hurricanes. Trust me PiC I can relate to everything seemingly being up in the air...


but shingles. yeowch...that blows.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers, everyone!

The latest?  The doctor gave me an anti-viral medication.  After taking 4 doses, I've broken out in an UN-shingles rash...all over.  Red and itchy patches to add to the pain....Doctor said add benedryl and see him Monday if it's not better.
