Title: Can I give up?

We are still waiting for word on the apartment, but should have an answer by Friday. Then I have surgery on next Monday and now it looks like my laptop is now just a large paperweight. The worst part is we just got a new battery for it 2 weeks ago. Am on the tablet which is being given back probably before I go in for surgery. So yeah.... Can I give up now? Other things going on that I don't want to get into presently, but not helping matters at all.
