Title: A Fallen Hero close to home
Post by: Raziel on October 01, 2015, 12:48:58 PM
We have lost a brother in blue yesterday.  Please keep his family in prayers.  He is survived by his wife and 6 month old baby boy who just turned 6 months when his father died.

I met him a few times at the jail.  My Corporal was a good friend of his as they graduated the academy together.

He was doing what we do every day and night, answering a call for a suspicious vehicle/person.  I do this most of my nights when I work at least 6 times a shift.  We are covering the agencies calls till after the funeral.

End of Watch 9/30/15

Rest in Peace Brother, we'll take the watch from here.

Lo, there do I see my Father
Lo, there do I see my Mother and Brothers and Sisters
Lo, there do I see the Line of my People back to the Beginning
Lo, they bid me to take my place in Valhalla
Where the Brave may live
Forever

I will say prayers for Him and His Family, it angers me when our Sheepdogs are taken out...we need more of them these days.
