Title: End of Watch
Post by: Raziel on November 08, 2015, 05:14:41 AM
No words can describe my feelings right now.   Last night we lost one of our own.

She was on my rotation and a great person.  I spoke with her before I got off work last night and now won't get to joke with her anymore.  Last thing I said to her was to have a good night and be safe.

Tim

Lo there do I see my Father
Lo there do I see my Mother and my Brothers and Sisters
Lo there do I see the line of my People back to the beginning
Lo they call to me, to take my place in Valhalla
Where the Brave may live forever

I am sorry for your loss, Tim, I am always upset when we lose a Sheep Dog...there are so few willing to put their lives between us and the wolves.  Prayers are being sent.

This leaves a big hole in my heart for You and the community.
Words cannot convey the emotions felt by anyone at times like these.
You, and her family, and community are in my thoughts and prayers.

my prayers rise for her and her family, and the family that she had as an officer.   God speed you home.

Condolences True.

Keep the good memories and never forget the kind of person she was.
Close ranks and move on. Keep your mind on your work and stay focused.

When you choose to do this you accept the risks and potential results.
This is what SHE CHOSE to do with her life. It is what she accepted as part of it all.

Do not look for the sense in it. There is none. Things happen beyond our control even though we look back in hindsight and may come up with hundreds of ways it could have been avoided. It cannot be. It is just the way it is.

She is in good company.
