the site is down can not get in.. shows front pages but error when you try to  enter

Something broke today on the site. Something interfered with the chat server, and I can not recover the port. Nothing of my doing. Trying to track down with the host what is wrong. I may not be able to fix this until they respond to me. 24 hours response time. And then usually it is some uninformed idiot who responds. I'll figure it out eventually.

Just an update. As of 4:55 pm EST. The site is still down. No word back from the hosting company.

Further analysis indicates another process has taken over the port. Since it is not my process, I have to wait until the hosting company resolves this.

If this going on much longer, I'll install a temporary chat server.

The site is functional again. I have to manually fix all the room entries, but Tuchuk is working.

Please let me know of any problems in PM on this forum. Thanks.

NightStorm and flame. Recalling when you had to have your provider open port 8080, they might now have to open port 9000 if you have problems staying connected in the room. Please let me know.
