Title: Meals at the Scagnar Althing

...Here is the standard daily fare...but there are wonderful delicacies being brought in by guests...*S*

BREAKFAST EACH DAY

Sausages made from bosk meat - freshly stuffed in the Isles by our bonds and thralls and hand rolled to age.
Sausages made from verr meat - lightly herbed with loving care and sometimes a bit more tender than bosk.
Vulo eggs - Scrambled, Poached, Fried or Hard boiled
Vulo eggs boiled served with tarsk strips and SaTarna bread (easy peasy basket to go)
For those with a sweet tooth like the wee ones: Fresh SaTarna bread dip in a mixture of honey, vulo eggs and thick bosk cream, Once completely soak in the mixture, it is places on the hearth in a pan and cook till golden brown on both side. When served it is topped with fresh whip
Fresh Fruits of the day (apricots, larma, chilled melon)
Fresh sa-tarna bread with bosk butter
Hot softened oats with soaked in a warm bosk cream, sliced apricots with a drizzle of honey
Fresh sa-tarna bread with honey

LUNCH MEALS
Sa-tarna bread buttered and lightly toasted with verr butter and slices of cold verr meat, can add on any left over veggies of the night before if desired

Steamed or fried:
Cosian Wingfish fresh from the Thassa
served with onions, cabbage, sea salt, and sa-tarna dumplings.

Baked Sul with beans and melted bosk cheese

Tarsk Chops - Braised in butter, these tarsk chops are seasoned with rosemary, garlic, and thyme, then stuffed with a sage sa-tarna dressing.

Turnip and Cabbage soup with warmed sa-tarna bread with bosk butter


LATE SUPPER: For those whom missed the Feast each night.
Roasted Bosk with suls , peas and gravy with left over daily bread.
Open Faced Sandwich
Shredded meat; most often a variety of either bosk, gant, tarsk, tabuk, tumit, or vulo meats; served on two thick slices of bread, with a generous helping of mashed suls in the center of the plate, topped with seasoned gravy
Two Tarna Rolls, with warm roasted bosk meat that is smothered in melted cheese, drizzled with a honey dressing and lettuce
Stew
A hearty bowl filled with large chunks of seasoned meat; either bosk, fish, or cook's choice, cubes of carrots, sul wedges, peas, onions, a sprinkling of garlic and salt, all brought together by a rich and hearty gravy which will surely stick to your bones.

SOMETHING SWEET:
Sticky Buns, hot, messy and sometimes covered in nuts
Fluffy Cream filled long pastry
Fresh fruit with whipped book cream
Carrott Cake
Chocolate Cake
Nutt Butter Balls, made fresh daily and if desire, dipped in chocolate
Chocolate and Ramberry Tarts
Assorted cookies for the kids or the young at heart
Hard candies for the bonds if allowed
