Title: Prayers Please!

Tomorrow morning (7/14) at 9 am, my other half, Gordon will undergo surgery at Vanderbilt Medical Center.  He will have a TAVR procedure (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement).  We are all a little stressed out, though we know we are in good hands at Vandy.  It is a procedure that the VA does not do, so they sent him to Vandy.

If you think about it, please offer up a prayer tomorrow morning that God will lead the doctors' hands and Gordon will come through the surgery with flying colors.

Gordon is out of surgery and recovering in the cardiac step down unit.  He tolerated the surgery well.  Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
