just the last post i made from her hun,  shes in the hospital till the babies are born

update:  i spoke to yaya just now and she is doing wonderful a lil "full" but doin good, they will be taking the babies wednesday and will have someone get in touch with me if she isnt able to after they are born, -grins- they are wanting the babes to be atleast 3 lbs before they are born and they are just about there, they will be kept in oxygen only when they come, which is a very good thing,  their lungs are more mature then normal, so all is good

spoke to D again tonight and yaya is getting excited and nervous about tomorrow and of course i couldnt help but pick on him for being nervous about bein in there when the babies are born, bein a surgeon and all himself,  hes gettin it from bothways --laughs-- and messages were sent on to her, i will be hearing something tomorrow once the babies are all safe and sound and yzyz s back resting,


both babies are weighing in at about 4 lbs right now, and they wanted to atleast get them up to 3,  their lungs are doin great and the dont expect them to be in the hospital very long at all

For those that want to know....yaya had her babies...Alexandra Elise is 4lbs 8oz and 15 in. long and Riley Alexander is 4lbs 2 oz and 14.5 in long. They were both born at 3:03 pm and 3:06pm this afternoon.  They are doing well and breathingon their own in incubators with extra oxygen.

WOOOOTS knowing from experience with two of her lil ones that if they are in the warmer beds with just a bit of oxygen blowby that they are healthy and strong just need a bit of adjusting to the big bad world out here...

First, I want to say thank you all for all of your prayers, calls, well wishes, etc..  They have meant so much to us.  ~smiles~

Now, onto updates!

I am home, as ya can probably tell..  My babies are still in the hospital though, and so a good part of my time will still be there with them.  My r/t and I are taking turns part of the time so that we can sleep and also be with the other kids..

The babies are both doing well and making huge improvements..  Alexandra is doing a bit better than Riley, but apparently it is normal for the baby boys to not be as strong as the little girls in these situations..  We are optimistic that they will only be in the hospital for a couple of more weeks, though, if they continue to do as well as they are..  

Alexandra is off oxygen completely, eating well, and regulating her own temperature..  Riley is still on oxygen part of the time, he is learning to eat a bit better, and he is doing better with his temperature regulation..  They both have hair, though, and they are both pretty damned cute..  ~laughs~

Please just keep them in your prayers..  ~smiles~
