I am dealing with a really messed up situation R/T, it has to do with our landlord playing God, changing the locks on our place, removing all our stuff and either setting it outside for anyone to take for free, or bagging it up and putting it in the dumpster, just because he hasn't been able to get ahold of us for 2 weeks... found this out Sunday morning and with my emotions on overdrive I might be snappy or snippy, I apologize in advance, but there are somethings that are replacable and some that will never be replaced again, ever

notify the local Law Enforcement Agency and press charges against his ass. the laws may vary somewhat from place to place as well as the actual wording for the applicable codes... but it does sound like you may have a good case against him for breaking and entering... burglary... criminal trespass... destruction of property... and several others or variants of them.
if you have been keeping up with your end of the agreement, then he has no reason to be disposing of your property. check any signed agreements to see if he placed anything in there about unannounced inspections without your knowledge or presence... if he reserved the right to confiscate any property simply because he has naught seen you for two weeks... and any other shady and potentially illegal activities.
seek legal recourse in the matter first and foremost.

We notified the local law enforcement agency, the sheriff department who's responsible for the town, and all we got was a handbook on landlord and tenant rights and responsiblities... They told us that since it sounded like a dispute between the landlord and tenant the police couldn't do anything about it... Oh and we were told that he didn't break and enter because he owns the building...
As for the lease, we never got one... not from the lack of trying, but it seems the asshole doesn't believe in such, but he did make the mistake of signing our food stamps application saying that we were living there and so on and so forth, just waiting to hear from our case worker about getting a copy of that...

your lazy bastard law enforcement morons are just too fat and lazy from swilling donuts and coffee to even do their job. no landlord has the right to claim he has naught seen a tenent for two weeks and just enter their apt and begin tossing and removing their property.
i would seriously consider notifying the state police and have them investigate your county agency for dereliction of duty.

yeah, Pine County is like, the epitomy of small town curroption. I hate going up there.
