just wish to let A/all know...mostly Mistress~nods lots with a sweet grin~...why i haven't been around the last few days...and probably not too much for a little while~late Saturday night, or real early sunday morning, there was a tornado that tore through the outskirts of where i live, and the surrounding comunities~which i managed to utterly sleep through~there was a lot of damage, and the death toll is, well not as high as so many tragedies~but it is close to 30 now. whole families gone. so many have lost their homes and all their possesions~some i know, many i have never met, but they are part of the larger family, the community as a whole, and it has shook everyone here to their core. the national guard is patrolling the small town that was hit the hardest...it's so strange...you see things like this on the news, but never think it could strike so close to you. but it did. many know that i work in a restaurant~and right now, i have never been more proud of that fact. since sunday morning, we have been giving out free food to whoever is hungry in the affected areas. they have set up two different areas with gas grills and are passing out hamburgers and chicken sandwhiches to any that wander by. they have even managed to get the home office to send in a huge truck~loaded with odds and ends~to pass out.yesterday and today, i had to work at the store~and must have made at least 500 burgers to send out to them all~and i have cooked off even more chicken for the red cross volunteers and the police~so they can eat on the run. tommorrow night, after my regular shift, instead of coming home and going into camp~i volunteered to go out and cook for them all, and pass out the sandwiches to the ones who have lost so much~it didn't feel like a choice...just the right thing to do.
please...if you could...pray for these people....they could use all the strength they can get.

Awww, that's my little volunteer -hugs you tight- I don't care that you will be busy, darlin', and can't stop on in. you're doing some good out in the world when most would go "screw that' I'm proud of you and get in whenever you can, I'll be waiting -hugs and lots of kisses on the cheek from Me-
