Although there is no REAL magic on Gor, there are magicians -- that is to say, illusionists who perform sleights of hand and disappearing acts with smoke and mirrors.  However, anything presented as TRUE magic, or that which deals with any strange and fantastic animal not created by John Norman, belongs in another realm...
