This Week's Gossip
Last Sunday morning I woke up alone because Doni had to be at Winged Foot early that morning. I slipped into my running gear and hurried over to Central Park in time to join Rachel and a few of the Columbia college students in our normal run. Amy, Tiffany, Janette, Richard and Jesse were there and we all shared ice cones after the run.

There was a nice little crowd on the yacht Diego rented for the Fourth of July and we had a great time all day. That evening the weather held off long enough for us to enjoy the fire works. Politicians, entertainers, business icons and of course lots of Diego’s friends were on board.

On Wednesday night Rachel offered that game called “Have You Ever?’ but I was too tied up to attend for change. Rach said Dami, William, Doni and Alexya were there and they had a pretty nice time poking into each others history and making fun of each other.

As hard as I tried, I couldn’t find out much about that Thursday night Hoboken car bombing. They are using dental records to try and determine who the burnt up corpse might have been. The police and the FBI all agree that this wasn’t a terrorist attack. It looked more like a specific gangland type hit on whoever that man was. I’m sure that won’t be the last we hear of that.

Friday night, while I attended a play with Diego, Rachel said she sat at Mahoney’s Irish Pub watching Jesse Miller and Ella Ricci try to out last each other in a drinking version of “Have You Ever?”  And the winner was……… *drum roll*……… maybe both of them since they left the Pub together.

I spent Saturday evening consoling a friend that wound up in the hospital with a nasty virus infection. They wound up keeping her overnight, but she was already feeling better when I left close to 11:00 pm. I got home barely in time to meet the deadline for this column.

Entertainment
This Wednesday night, July 12th at 10:00 pm ET, the Off-Broadway Creative Arts Theatre will be offering Rachel Tatellio's version of Will & Grace - My Fair Maid. It should be fun and I will be sitting in my center seat in the back row watching to see who might show up and who sits with whom.
