Every year we did one of those at the college/Bible School I went to. The boys would make up a book for each girl, and visa versa, and we'd each write something nice about that person in it and present the books at a banquet that that sex had prepared for the other. I still have all three of my books, and even tho I had one of the books that had the fewest notations in it... I treasure every one that is in there, and the fact that even tho I wasn't very popular, a few of them took the time to let me know that I was appreciated.

Hmmmmmm........perhaps......perhaps we need to share with each other in our Tuchuk Home how appreciative we are. You never know when just a "look" or a "snuggle hug" or "laugh" is needed and when you do that for someone you may be turning their gloomy day into something that actually helps them get through it, making it seem a bit brighter.
We all need to know me matter. (even if it's a grumpy ole Ubar) *kiss*
Just a thought.
Thank you lure for sharing.
*looks...then runs over to you and gives you a big ~snuggle hug~* *s*

it is funny, the way the universe works some times...the link was posted...as a friendly reminder...to let everyone you know (both friends you hold close to your heart, and those you might only know in passing) something positive...that you see with in them. speaking soley for myself...it isnt always easy to see the good things about yourself at times, or even believing them from those so close to you, might not be easy. ~chuckles, cause i'm babbling~...anyways..the responses...the idea of perhaps spreading the idea...well, they made me smile after a very trying day.
thank You Mistress, for allowing a peek into Your history.....thank you Pollypocket, for such a simple, but wonderful gesture...thank you flame, for just being such a joy to see...thank you jale, you're simply amazing...and well...~chuckles~...thank You Master...for finding time for U/us A/all.
~scooping up the hugs, and relishing their warmth before leaving many, many more in return, suddenly not feeling quite so tired anymore~

*pounces on my sweetest sis jale{Kels} and kisses her and bunnysnuffles in her ear*..
Just in case you forget, I love you. When I miss you most I wrap my arms around myself and close my eyes and tell myself it is your hugging ... then savor the sweet rememberance of that feeling..
Kels, lure, flame, mM2 Mistress, deelicious, LoveMuffin and Chef, my 'Nother Mom!!,Lilac, SuperRaz....
geez.. I can't name everyone, but YES, you all matter, and even if I don't get online in the room much at all anymore, you all have touched my life in places and ways that only you could have done, and for that I love and cherish each.
Because y'all make time to take time for each other, you are a special band of angels...
love, woobie

What a wonderful read!
We did that one year in one of my classes in school as the school year ended. It was an odd thing considering the class was Criminal Justice, but it brought a group of very different backgrounds together in a way that cannot be expressed. I still correspond with one of the girls that was in that class.
My hubby and I did this too. We opened our little books when we celebrated our first year as an "official" couple, and added more to them for next year. We like to leave little surprise notes about the house too. Or in the pockets of jackets. Etc.
