Title: Kadi update
Post by: RAGNAR on June 04, 2007, 07:39:33 PM: kadi is once again in the hospital in a great deal of pain. She is not eating well and thoughts and prayers are needed once again.

Post by: kadi{MTC} on June 06, 2007, 05:06:47 PM: kadi is once again home after 4 days in hospital, she had 6 angina attacks sat night and her face swelled right up to the point she couldnt eat anything but jelly, she still cannot eat right at the min but hopefully this will change soon, all my meds have been changed yet again and am now on over 30 tablets aday ~sighs~ her heart does not seem to have had any lasting damage, they did lots of tests, she thanks you all for thinking of her yet again,

I know your medicines just got changed, but do you think there's any possibility that your loss of appetite and increased angina attacks could actually be DUE to over-medication and medical interactions? ~concerned hug~ I'd be demanding a second opinion, even if I had to get it at the point of a high-heeled shoe being shoved up some doctor's government-paid ass.

ASPIRIN 75mg once a day
ISOSORBIDE MONONTRATE 20mg twice a day
CODEINE PHOSPHATE 30mg 2 tablets four times a day
PARACETAMOL 500mg 2 tablets four times a day
SENNA 7.5mg 2 at night
FLUOXETINE 20mg 3 tablets in morning
SIMVASTATIN 20mg 2 tablets at night
OMEPRAZOLE 20mg 1 every morning
ATENOLOL 20mg 1 every morning
DIAZEPAM 2mg 1 in morning 2 at night
LACTULOSE 10mls twice a day
ERYTHROMYCIN 250mg 2 tablets four times a day

last one finishes in a few days

Post by: sareem{MTC} on June 08, 2007, 06:18:56 PM: sis.....i think you should speak with your doc....several of those meds interact with each other.....for example the codeine and diazapam......and fluoxethane, you take 60mg. daily? sound like alot to this one.....

That's the problem with doctors today; feed you one medicine, that causes problems, feed you another medicine to fix the problems caused by the first, and so the cycle continues until you're taking more meds than found in a pharmacy.
