Wednesday, July 18th, We will be going to The Point for resupplying, which will kick off the start of Migration. We will then be heading south the following Wednesday.
Orders given per Ubar's word.
(That means I had the laptop out sitting here at the gathering and Ubar told Me to post to the wall ;D)

Today, travel began from Camp to the point for supplies. The freight wagons and treasure wagons were all prepared, the Outriders and ASKARI were assembled and the journey began. The weather was cruel...the plains became a wasteland of hot, dry weather with little water to aid us along our journey. The further we moved, the more dust we kicked up. The combination of the heat, lack of water, and the dust made the first leg of this trip hellacious but we travelled on as we always do.
A couple hours in to our journey, Outriders send word from the Point of skirmishes with raiders and there are casualties on both sides. The further our journey took us, the heavier the reports from the Outriders got. Outriders began riding in with reports. More remains had been found to the west and east of the column. These remains were only Tuchuk remains... picked off by peasant bows before they could even close enough to engage. An Outrider from the point rode in reporting a line of dead Tuchuks leading up to the watering hole. The point Outriders had halted to wait for orders before approaching the watering hole in case it is held by the Raiders.
Raziel ordered reinforcements sent to the Point and then ordered a charge inward. As the advance units drew closer they were able to recognise the blue of Tuchuk ASKARI sashes and standards. There were also bodies stacked up around the watering hole where Tuchuk forces closed in with the enemy and engaged in hand to hand combat to take the watering hole. Once we arrived, we saw Tuchuk ASKARI lay all about the watering hole in varied states of being. Some were badly wounded, while some were simply too weary and hungry to bother moving. They have had water, but no food to speak of... no shade... and worst of all the medical supplies had been exhausted for days.
Once arrived at the watering hole, We decided to set up camp for the night though the Ubar was missing. With so many injured, dead, or weary souls...we had our work cut out for us. Healers handed out rations to the weary Askari and tended to the wounded. Others set up camp while a search party went looking for the Ubar. Before long the call came out the Ubar had been found. He slept at the far side of the watering hole beneath a propped up shield. The tip of a peasant bow's arrow embedded deep in the muscle of his upper left arm... and numerous other injuries sustained in the fighting cover his trimmed down much leaner body. Healers assessed him quickly... and began to clean and dress the numerous wounds. They informed me the arrow tip embedded in his shoulder muscle would have to be tended by a surgeon. They could only try to clean it up and wait.

Migration Log Entry 1
All has been packed and the wagons have formed up.
It took nearly all night for the entire camp to mobilise orderly and form up into its ranks and files. The wagons now sit encircling the vacated camp site awaiting the word to move out and begin the journey South to our summering lands.
All wagons were reported as moving without serious incident.
The herds are roughly two days ahead of the Wagons heavilly guarded by Outriders. The herds are moving slowly and mostly in early morn and late evening when the temperatures are cooler. The herds should reach the River of Tears sometime this night if progress continues at the current rate.
The team bosk may be fed and watered in their traces. Patrols are to remain within two passang of the wagons. Tend to the wagons and stock as needed but do conserve your strength for the upcoming move.
Only small fires and light meals while we are still fresh. Replenish what water you use from the river and springs located throughout the vacated camp site. Long range Patrols report this is the last source of water in quantity until we reach the River of Tears.
Personal stores may be used as wished. Camp commissary stores are under the control of Sahara. Sahara will distribute fruits gained at the Point as she deems necessary along with other camp stores that must see us to Turia.

Note------ Sunrise, sunset, and times of day will vary during the migration role play as dictated by the Story Teller or by log reports. Those who are able to role play during daytime hours should use a default daylight time period without stating a specific time period. This way when the main role play begins in the evenings the ST may set the time and pace of role play.

Migration Log Entry 2
An Outrider returned bringing word winds have created a dust storm ahead of the wagons. I have decided to hold the wagons where they are pending clearing of the weather.
Dust of such magnitude would require the use of more of our water supply. As it is, we will be pushing the supply to reach the RoT two days away under good conditions.
So we remain in place until the morrow. Rest and tend the stock as needed. Patrols will remain in effect as previously ordered. Conserve everything as much as possible.

Migration Log Entry 3
Wagons were able to move during the night and made a good distance.
At dawn the wagons halted and the stockand wagons were tended.
Thus far there have been no losses though the wagons are facing rough times as they make their way through the broken and rocky ground area. We could have gone around this area, but to skirt it would have added an additional two days of travel time and the water supply would not support the column.
The wagons will begin to roll once again as soon as the heat of the day begins to ease off again.
Standing orders are to maintain Patrol no further out than three passang, conserve your strength and continue to eat light while we are all still fresh. Pay strict attention to the stock and use only the water necessary.

Migration Log Entry 4
The wagons progressed along the migration route. A few minor incidents took place requiring wagon repairs but thus far no wagons have been lost.
One bosk was injured and was put down by Sahara and used to make stew that will feed quite a large number.
It begin raining during the night and the rain coupled with the wagons now being in good high grass again is a welcome relief.
Tend to the stock and the wagons. Conserve your strength. Patrols will range no further out than three passang.
The River of Tears is ahead and we shall cross it on the next leg of our journey.

Migration Log Entry 5
The River of Tears was reached. It was a sight to behold. The water level is greatly reduced and much of the rocky river bottom is exposed. We had hoped to find an abundance of moving water. Tuchuk was however able to recover remains and useful items from losses during the last migration. This was a slow time consuming process.
The wagons remain on the Northern Bank of the river and will cross come the morrow. While stopped water the stock well and graze the bosk teams close by the wagons they pull.
All water taken for our consumption will be boiled before being added to the water barrels. The stock will muddy up the waters.
The river is not very deep, but do beware of water critters.
Eat light and rest as much as possible. Be sure to tend the wagons well. The crossing will be hard on them!
Remains will be gathered from the south bank before the wagons cross. There is no need to cruch Tuchuk remains beneath our wheels needlessly.
Reported by RAGNAR
***Note---- We shall attempt to cross the river around 8:00 - 8:30 PM EST!!!

Migration Log Entry 6
The River of Tears has been crossed.
Currently the wagons are camped on the flats just beyond the Southern bank of the river. There were loses, but compared to past crossings... given the vast numbers involved... from a strategic viewpoint the numbers were insignificant in the grand scheme of things. On the personal aspect, any loss is great.
To say the crossing was easy would be greatly in error. Although the river is low, the loose rocks and sandy areas did prove hazardous.
Two wagons were lost along with the Free who owned them. A Man and his Companion were recovered, but one ancient Man was lost to the River.
Figures are still comming in regarding injuries.
A few insignificant thralls casualties occurred.
All tallied, six kailla and four bosk were lost.
Four Outriders killed.
No other stock has been reported as losses.
The wagons will remain stopped overnight. Tend the stock well... eat well... and tend to the wagons. The next leg of the journey will be taking us to Turia. Patrols will confine their areas to within five passang of the wagons. This should bring the main herd within sight of the Southern Patrols.
The team bosk will be permitted to graze the areas around the wagons they pull.

Migration Log Entry 9
We have concluded our stay in Turia and have pushed on. The wagons have rolled throughout the night and will stop at dawn to rest the teams, and will then press onward.
Keep moving Tuchuk... as we are almost home. Officially we are now in what we claim as our territory once again.
The grasses are high and green... the temperature is once again bearable.
With luck we should be home soon.
All is well.

Migration Log Entry 10
We have pushed hard and long, but we are home. The wagons sit in our territory on the outskirts of camp.
Come the morrow we shall move into the camp and position the wagons.
Spirits are high and Tuchuk has suffered extremely low casualties and losses this migration. All told... a very rough but uneventful migration in terms of loss of life and property. Endless Sky smiled upon us.
Patrols are out as usual, and the teams and stock have been tended and rest well this night.
We are an easy days ride from the Southern Coastal waters of the Thassa. Good cooler breeze and temperatures, but also riskier in terms of storms rolling in from the Sea. Patrols will remain steady along the coastal positions to watch out for landing Raiders and potential merchant trade.
Rest well... eat well.
