Actually, this movie came out about four years before Blues Brothers.

Hmm, let's see, hints:

Okay, there were a number of people in this movie who either were, or became, very well known, although probably NOT for this one *lol*

Four of the people would be recognized in these ways:

A football player, a comedian and family man, a sex symbol and a TV star.


((BTW ... just to be sure I'm clear here, there were several other easily recognized people in this movie, including one of the main characters .. these are just four examples))

Nope, I'm afraid it's not Airplane either.

I've gotta admit, I'm feeling pretty good with this one ... I've seen most of you come up with answers very quickly, so I'm liking this!  *LOL*

Okay, one more clue and if nobody's able to get it then I'll give the answer this evening.

In the last clue I mentioned other work done by four of the people in the movie ... of those four, two were main characters and two were lesser characters.  I'm going to give info about one more of the actors, this one is also one of the main characters.  Like I mentioned before, it's really funny how many people involved in this movie, which has actually become almost a "cult" type of thing, became extremely well known, yet people almost never hear about this one work.

Okay, this other main character (BTW, the three main characters are pictured on the box for the videotape, as well as the DVD release, which came out in 2004) has also appeared on a weekly TV comedy/skit type of show which is probably the most well known show in the US, and probably beyond our borders as well.  He has also appeared in a very large number of movies (all different types), including one in which he worked with Whoopi Goldberg.

Okay, that's it ... no more clues!   Have fun with it everybody!

Nooo, nice try but Ted wasn't in this movie at all.  The movie we're talking about came out 11 years before "Three Men & a Baby" ... back in 1976.

The movie is Mother, Jugs & Speed, the story of a rather ... strange set of employees of an ambulance service in the 70's.

The cast members I mentioned:

The Football Player -- Dick Butkus

The TV Star -- Larry Hagman

The Comedian and "Family Man" (yep, it was a hidden hint) -- Bill Cosby (Mother)

The Sex Symbol -- Raquel Welch (Jugs ... like you didn't see that one coming!!)

And it was Harvey Keitel (Saturday Night Live & Sister Act among many others) who was the third of the main characters ... named Speed!
