i was wondering.. how do You know when You have spent too much time on gor ?

when  you call the UPS guy ,"Master" ?

 when You're hungry in a reserrant and place Your order and say "harta"!

...or is it when You are  at a friends  place.. and they ask what You'd like to drink.. and You say,
"Blackwine, first slave"

When I glare at a female who has just pissed me off... and inform her....

And then when they open their hole and begin to flap their guns again, I tend to lean very close and speak only loud enough for the female to hear me....

I said you were dismissed. Rest assured I have no problem placing you at my feet where you belong. Please... try me.

And it is about this time they turn very pale... the fear is obvious in their eyes... or in those special cases... I can see in the female's eyes a certain spark of appeal. *G* Oh yeah... another feels her belly for the first time.

WHO LET RAGNAR IN HERE???? rather loudly...... and then your supervisor looks at you like what the hell got into you..... and you just walk on with a smirk on your face

I've known of Gor for barely two monthes, and I'm already thinking and speaking with capitals.

When I'm talking to someone in a higher position than myself, I'll place an emphasis on the word You so it sounds like the Y is an upper case letter.  Or even if I'm thinking about the person, I'll do the same thing and think of them as a "You" instead of the usual overall "you".  I might start worrying if I inadvertantly use the third person when talking, though.

When you make the mistake of ordering vulo instead of saying chicken. * eesh*...

Or when Your sitting in an airport, reading the Gorean Message Board and the guy next to You says....  she sleen...then He has a scary chuckle and ya all of the sudden wish like hell you had a panther spear. *L*...Instead You just close Your laptop, get up, lift Your chin a wee bit, and say Be Well... And make a graceful striding exit....  * shakes head, remembering that day not to long ago*

I cant COUNT how many times I've said "Tal".....

and I too have fallen victim to the "you stupid ass thrall" *eeps*

and Rags, if You had told Me that line.........woooohooooo......neither of the looks You mentioned would have been the one You saw LOL.........I think I proved that two years ago LOL *MWAH*

or pinging off an email using the lower case and upper case, oh yeah, been there done that too......

or like with My halloween costume this year...........people were a little frightened when I wore a real whip at My side, and was a Pirate/Warrior/KissAss Female type Chick.........and knew how to use it......multi braids and all........the only thing missing was the blades on the end LOL...........or that I wore a real sword over My shoulder *innocent multi blinks*

or knowing the power of "the Kar look"........and giving it real time.........THAT was funny......scared a 6'2" big guy......I'm so damn proud of Myself sometimes LOL

or wondering if the next customer is a gorean ......

looking at everyone's tattoos to see if I might see a "brand" or a tuchuk horn symbol......and squinting a bit at some people's jewelry to see if they might symbolize something from gor...


so yeah, in essence.........live eat and breathe it no matter how often I take these wholly cow I dont have enough time to breathe breaks!

oh Lord.. it's starting too happen to me !

at my job.. which involves doing telphone interviews..as i am working at home
the system provides two, in house IM systems.. that are used to ask
a supervioer for help or if they want to tell you something...

lucky for me i'm such a slow typer that i catch myself in time when i start to send things
like." this one has a question..".

Maybe its when You threaten your roomie who rps as your kajira "I will beat you as Shoko beats vittora"

Or maybe when You go to a store that sells all kinds of knives and wonder "which one would be most like a quiva" and then expect the sales boy to know what that is........

Or maybe when You meet a girl in RL who wears a necklace very similar to a collar and has a tattoo of the gorean kef you almost shit yourself, or when you aske her about it and she lies to you and tells you its her bf's innital, and when you can tell and know shes lying you wish you could just whip her for lying


or maybe its when you go searching all over for the books and have a freind read you the last two chapters of preistkings over the phone because you want to know what happens and cant seem to get your hands on a copy......
