OKay.  Dr. Babe seems unworried about the low side of normal amniotic fluid.  Which is a good thing.  That means I can continue to work until I just can't stand it anymore.  And it means NO BED REST!  Yes!  I didn't know what I would do while on bed rest.

However, baby Julian still hasn't flipped.  She says there is still a small percentage that he will turn..but just in case, we've scheduled the OR for the 3rd of March for a C Section.  If I go into Labor before then, obviously things happen that way and if he still hasn't flipped by then, then it's still a C Section.  If he does flip, then no C Section and it's natural birth.

But yeah, that's all I have for now.

Well at least things are half good......... but not all bad!!!! things will turn out alright....... as long as you dont go crazy from the lil one doing summersaults in your tummy.

at the dates it isn't long now. hopefully you and the baby both are healthy and up and running in no time. well he will be eventually and driving ya nuts ;D

-bumps this up a bit- Just wanted to let you all know, that after my Drs. appointment this morning, I am 2 cm dialated, and my cervix has thinned out.  Which could mean I go right away (as in within the next few days) or I may just end up still going all the way until the 3rd.  I just figured I would update a little on what is going on. So if I disappear, I've probably been admitted to the hospital due to labor.  Will try to post something here before I go, but if I don't, Beau will eventually be home to post something to let you all know what has happened.

With the exception of a few mild contractions.  Nothing yet.  Still here.  Though I'll be rather sparse this weekend due to the hours I work.

2 hours later...Jullian decided to arrive....18 inches long 6lbs 2ounces

mother and son are resting and doing fine~s

Yes, Julian arrived. He was 6 lbs 15oz and healthy as an ox. He didnt really want to come out though and he made that perfectly clear with a rather pissed off cry. Amber and Julian are doing well. They should be able to come home on Sunday or Monday.

update..... amber is texting me on my phone, she sends her love and thanks to everyone. she is in recovery now and will be for a few days. so all is well and the baby is fine and healthy.. I am going to go see her within the next day or so, so if anyone has any messages for Terran and amber i will print off this thread and give it to her for you all...

You know I don't log on for most of the day, come back and send my Sis words that Julian wants to be a leap year baby and come to find out that he's already born... Can we say I am a little behind on things... ~laughs~ Though seriously, Sistah and Brotha, Julian is beautiful and as I told Amber tonight via Expendable Boy, I am jealous with a capital "J"...

I am glad to hear that mom and baby are doing well, and Amber, Sistah dear... I hate to tell you, but he's going to be spoiled until the time he's off and married, and maybe even after that... after all how many kids get to grow up with so many Aunts and Uncles... ~grins~ Loves to you all... and get your damn rest, you deserve it... ~huggggggggggggggggggles gently~

Hopefully he will become the second Jack Lambert... but that will require him being a bit larger than his Mother and Father.

However.... there is nothing wrong with bringing up an extremely fast and unmerciful strong safety. This allows him the best of both worlds taking out the pass as well as the run. Unfortunately hes got a genetic make-up that isn't going to allow him to be all that big...I mean, his mom is a midget...I mean 'little person'...and I'm not the biggest guy in the world but between me and Amber, he will be fast, Ill give him that. I just hope he doesn't end up with her temper -lol- Anyway, this will be my last post on the boards until Amber and Julian can come home. Im going to take tomorrow off so I can spend time with the both of them at the hospital tonight and hopefully by Monday morning the Momma and lil Tuchuk will be home where they belong.

Okay.  I am home.  Hooray!  C sections?  Hurt.  Especially if you're one of those people who don't want to be absolutely laid out for a really long time, and you kinda overdo it when they have pain meds still running through your i.v.  I feel like I did a really hard abdominal workout and then woke up the next day.  I know for some of you, that may sound like, it doesn't really hurt...but I mean...a really really hard abdominal workout, like you didn't stop for two hours workout and hadn't done one in 20 years -lol-  Julian weighed 6 lbs and 10 ounces when we left the hospital this morning.  Other than that, there really isn't any new news to post besides the fact that we are home, and I am thankful for all the wonderful thoughts and stuff and well wishes that you all have sent out to me and Beau.  Pictures will be up...when I take some of my own because I don't like depending on other people -lol- So when I get the time to take some pictures of him.  I will do so, and then will post them for all to see.

I totally understand the C section pain thing.... I had to have one too. When those pain meds wear off you DEFINITELY know that you've been doing something you shouldn't. *chuckles* I ended up sleeping downstairs in the spare bedroom for a couple weeks afterwards just because I couldn't face the stairs. It does get better tho, and you're home, and lil guy is home, and I'm so glad for you!! Give him oodles of huggles for me!

I am so glad things went so well for you...sorry about the c-section pain...i am hoping to go natural without them cuting me...i dont really like the idea of a knife on my belly... we send hugs and kisses to you and julian...

C sections are not the most fabulous of expierences..... but sometimes necessary... but I think I would have taken one of those over nearly tearing a hamstring muscle because possum was crowning out and they had one leg up in sturips and one leg down.....they were nailing that leg with shots of morephine for a week trying to prevent further damage..... is just glad you and bebe are fine..... and I know Beau will be a great daddy...
