This Week's Gossip
Last Sunday morning Diego woke me up for breakfast in bed. He was still jokingly jabbing at me about my Silver Fox remark the night before when he picked me up in front of Mahoney's. I told him that he really needed to stop by Mahoney's some night to watch Garie Garrison dance. I'm recommending that to all of my readers.
After a little play time, I showered, dressed, and headed for the Palm Court where I shared brunch with Rachel Tatellio and Mary McGrath. The talk was all about that YouTube photo of Yvette with Richard Sawyer. Rachel said she's doing everything in her power to help Yvette get through this dramatic time in her life.
As I understand it from my private sources, Yvette has already met with Bobby Campbell. Bobby has also been seen visiting with Vicki Jenkins out at that prison farm where she's now serving those thirty days Judge Gamble sentenced her to spend before returning to serve the remaining two years wearing an electronic ankle bracelet. It seems that police detective Lilly Rush has been assigned to monitor Vicki. Interesting choice.
Mary says her potential novel with Carl Cameron is progressing nicely and they are already up to chapter ten. I asked for a copy in progress but she laughed and said we would all have to wait.
Finally, there might be a little progress in the pursuit of that serial rapist and killer. I'm not at liberty to say any more at this time, but at least there's hope. Stay tuned!
On Saturday night Diego took me to see the new Grease play at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. Laura Osnes made her Broadway debut as Sandy Dumnbrowski and did a fine job. Since we were back at my place before 11:00, I called Rachel on her cell phone. She gave me the update since she spent the evening at the Four Seasons Supper Club.
Bobby Campbell was there all evening and Yvette showed up around ten with Jason. There was also a new attorney there named Sarah Alexander who wound up reviewing the one year contract between Bobby and Yvette before Yvette finally signed on the dotted line. Yvette was moody at first, but really became excited when Bobby showed them all the proofs of her in the Guici dresses. Bobby truly believes that Carly Carpenter, the Vogue editor, might talk Guici into using Yvette over Eva Macy.

This Tuesday night, July 8th at 10:00 pm ET, the Off-Broadway Creative Arts Theatre will be offering Rachel Tatellio's version of Get Smart - Kisses for Kaos. I'll be there in case she needs me to cover a role.
