Breaking News!!   Lance Zodic Arrested!
Late last night, Wednesday July 9th, in the combined efforts of NYPD detectives, Lilly Rush and Scotty Valens, a Lance Zodic was arrested as the notorious serial rapist and killer that has been terrorizing the city for almost two years.

New York City District Attorney, Nelle Porter, proudly announced the arrest this morning at a press conference that I attended in front of the 5th Precinct police station where Mr. Zodic is being held pending his arraignment.

Ms. Porter said that it was the result of a tip offered by non other than our New York Times gossip columnist, Lindsay Davis. She stated that Lindsay received the tip from Barbara Swan, a bartender at Mahoney's Irish Pub.

If this Zodic is convicted, Ms. Swan will receive the five thousand dollar reward offered last week by Mayor Bloomberg for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this murderer.

I managed to get a short interview with Ms. Swan after the press conference as she worked the bar at Mahoney's as usual. She said that she accidentally came upon the evidence while visiting Mr. Zodic in his first floor flat at 204 Myrtle Avenue after a date.

Barbara even assisted the police by calling Lance Zodic and agreeing to go out with him to see a play while Lilly Rush and her team used a search warrant to enter the flat and confirm the evidence Ms. Swan said was there.

Barbara said she was pretty nervous, even though Detective Scotty Valens and several other  police officers tailed them throughout the supposed date.

Once Detective Rush confirmed the evidence, Detective Valens stepped in a private box at the Olympic Theater, arrested Zodic, and sent him off to the 5th Precinct where he was booked, fingerprinted, photographed, and tucked in a private cell for the night. I was able to learn that Mr. Zodic owns and operates some kind of a computer software business. To the best of our knowledge, Mr. Zodic hasn't selected a attorney. Ms. Porter said she will be questioning Mr. Zodic once he has selected a lawyer. The arraignment will probably occur on Saturday or Monday and I plan to be there.

Subsequently, we also learned that a police raid conducted in a Brooklyn warehouse, right after Zodic's arrested, netted additional evidence regarding his crimes. Several missing women were found there in terrible condition, locked up in rooms and often in chains. Their names are being withheld at present.
