well hello family
lol
today finally got the stuff taken care of and went and did alittle Window shopping at a marketplace here in Tacoma called the B&I!
they had a swordshop there and i was looking around, they had helms and shields and hoped and prayed t hey would have what iwas looking
for to be alittle authentic for Gorean standards but the closest thing they had was of course the Roman Spatha and some Norse swords and Japanese
Katanas and ninja stuff.
but guys lol the guy was laughin cuz my jaw hit the floor just seeing them...theY ARE ACTUAL SWORDS!!! i mean actually folded steel peeps!
my mouth drooled, and when i heard and read their prices...i mearly had a heart taack the Spatha was $219 with the all the tax $230
anyways....i tried but not givin up cuz im gonna look the look for real if ican aas a Tuchuk lol. if ican (whistles)
just thought id lets ya all know

That is cheap... ~laughs and picks your jaw up off the floor again~ the most hubby has paid for one of his swords is nearly $400 and they are real, and yes he's fought with them.. Too bad, the one that we brought with us was stolen back when we were living in Minnesota.. ~sighs~
There is a site that sells swords as well, top of the line, in fact, I do believe this is who we got them from... www.atar.com there is another site, you might like to look into, though the prices are really really expensive.. www.swordandstone.com.. Woobie and Kelsey, the site is back up and running, and yes, you can drool to your heart's content...

item.. rather than a weidable one
sighs and drools... have lost all my neat stuff.. even the custom
made scabbards that were made for me.. over the years..
now i don't even have so much as mat knife..

When it comes to folded steel, especially in the case of hand forged katana's, I highly doubt I would consider buying anything under two thousand dollars. But that's just me.

Looking for something real to drool over Bro? A true Shinken blade, authorized in Japan by the Japanese government, and forged only by authorized Sword Smiths, and of course considered works of art and not weapons. This is a true katana.
