On Thursday evening I informed my friends of my intentions of returning to Ireland with my sister Ayslin. We will live in Mum's cottage back in Kilkenny since Ayslin's husband is a complete sod. I had anticpated that it would not be the most enjoyable task but I had underestimated how difficult it actually was to say goodbye to my friends and family of so many years here at MacLaaran.
Ayslin and I packed yesterday and left before dawn this morning, hoping to avoid another tearful departure. Looking over my shoulder as the carriage pulls from the small villiage of MacLaaran, I will miss this place, but more importantly I will miss the people that made the place what it is.
Mac has been a home better than most. Take care of her.

I wish You the best of luck, My friend.... I was hoping for more. Your sudden departure surprised Me, but I'll make sure that Your 3000 gold sovereigns are delivered as soon and as safely as possible. I'm sending a messenger on horse back to try and catch up to You before the ship sails.

~the dim light throughout the cottage shed intriguing shadows over her features....frowning as she has heard through the village "grapevine" that Tim has gone back to Ireland with his sister. Times were indeed changing, but didn't they always change? Sitting down to her desk, thoughtfully tucking a curl behind her ear as she unfurls a blank piece of parchment...sighing softly at how things change as she takes up her quill~
Tim,
Prae and I wish ye the best. I'm sorry we could nay be at the castle t'say farewells. The winds of change have been strong as of late and I'm sure ye new path will bring ye upon many new adventures. Stay well M'friend and the castle shall nay be quite the same without ye.
Our bests t'ye

~allowing the ink to dry then rolling the parchment up and securing it with a thin string....stepping out the cottage door just in time to catch one of the village errand boys....calling him over, directing him to pass the missive along the regular routing system...then placing a few coins in his palm~
