Over the last month or so, i have stuck my head in to see who might still be around...and, sadly, don't seem to see folks i knew from years past....
....in particular, where have all the former SFD chatters gone? Have all disappeared it seems!
Even maze F/folks from years past don't seem to be around....and, unfortunately, the place has been empty most times i have stuck my head in......

Guess this girl actually needs to go into a room instead of just checking the who chat, eh? Not that there is much time for chatting...but just missing some of the folks from days gone by....(another era, it seems, doesn't it?)
Would LOVE...absolutely LOVE to be able to get some of the old group together for old time's sake....not sure if it would work due to this girl's schedule, which is not her own these days *smiles*, but might be worth a shot?
Not exactly sure how this message board works...or how to do PM's...when this girl responded to your PM...was that in PM, too! Sure hope so! lol

Would love to be able to have an online reunion of sorts....but not sure how the heck to mobilize something like that....would probably have to give up my job (jobs...plural) and devote full time effort to a deal like that....which is an impossibility at this point....but it's still a nice thought...wondering where everyone's pathway of life has taken them....
It's sure good to see names from the past, thou......and makes me smile....with fond memories.....

I don't know if you remember me and Duke Douglas. We are now married and I live in the states and not Australia. I don't get to chat as much these day, life seems to get in the way. I check the rooms every now and again but they seem to be empty or people in there that I don't recognize.

If GentleMaster isn't out of town, I will let him know about 10/29. He told me was going on, yet another, scouting mission for slaves for the next two weeks. I have plans next week-end, but I'll try to get back in time to log on for a bit.
I am doing great, still having fun, more fun than I deserve it seems sometimes. It took me two days to recover from the Folsom Street Fair festivities this year. I wish they would have clocks in play spaces that stay open 24 hours.

I know this hasn't been replied to in a long time, but I saw the name of my "mom" (Trisha) and one who I was the maid of honor at their wedding (amanda and the duke), and someone who helped me with my first webpage (Cass), and someone who helped get me in trouble all the time in the Masters lockerrooms, blaming it all on me ('dusa), it seems like ages ago..wait..it was.
Has it really been over 17 years ago a lot of that happened? I don't even remember now, it could have been a lot more, but wheww..can you believe it? There are so many names from the past I've seen mentioned here, I don't even know if I remember the name I first started with when I came to Chatrop, or even went to SFD, taysia I think it was.
That was so long ago, I then became siren and have been that forever, but to see so many familiar names. Some of the times have brought such good memories, laughter, times I wouldn't trade for anything.
Sometimes we need that, it's good to see how the lives of those I came to know have turned out, I'm very happy for all of you and wish you all the best life has to give you. It's good to see you again.

To me, the moment I 'arrived' in the BDSM/SFD/Webmaze online world (16 odd years ago now) seems like yesterday. I was nervous and a little insecure. To be honest, for a guy who could never be malicious to a woman, I was also quite scared of the thoughts which tumbled through my mind, arousing it (well, you girls say a man's brain is in his lower, central, external appendage). Nevertheless, the people I met in SFD, and in Webmaze, opened my eyes, and helped me to accept what I was, in the knowledge that there were others who needed the company of those such as me... A Dom, as I discovered.
Subsequently, the passions, the intrigue, and the love of those people who became close to me, helped me to grow in confidence, and become the complete and utter BASTARD that I am now! ~LOL Urrrm, that was a joke! Stop nodding your heads!~. They were all loved in return; acquaintances, cherished friends, and lovers. Oh, and gentlemen... When I say 'lovers', I don't mean you! We were just 'good friends' OK?!?! :)
One finds that, despite the passing years, and the distances involved, in the world of online association and love (not to mention Domination and submission), nothing changes much, except our attitudes and our expectations. We always strive to better ourselves, and to cultivate our skills, such that we can facilitate a greater depth of experience for those who become special to us. But, in that process of growth, we change, and our needs can become disparate with those of the people we care about. Therefore, I say to anyone who reads this, anyone who cares, that is... Remember the people who shaped you, who stirred you into action, who heightened your experience, be it as Dom or sub. Remember the good times, and the fun. Remember the love. But ensure that you do not dwell on the negatives, other than to file in the library of experience, to learn from and grow. Never allow bitterness to grip your mind, nor steer your actions; for if you do, it is only you who will suffer. <-- Pious, maybe... But practical.
To anyone I know/knew, in whatever capacity, I pray the years between then, and this day hence, are full of happiness, kindness, and fulfillment, in the ways that are special to you. Each an every one of you is special to me, because you helped to deepen my knowledge and experience of the D/s world... A world that I now know, and understand. A world that I could not live without.

~ i think back to the years when we all first met~the laughter, the smiles, the tears, the arguements, our real life difficulties and struggles that we helped one another with~I have to say that i have such fond memories of our times online, and i have never forgotten any of You~Life seems to carry us forward at a fast pace sometimes and we simply need to stop and smell the roses~ or perhaps see our friends, leave a little note or thought~
~ grinning to Helleck and His words~ knowing He helped me beyond belief so many years ago and still does~ I can only imagine the bill he will send me soon~ laughs~

Remembering too, those wonderful people met in NOLA that hot summer long ago.

Amusement Park as Christine. Several of us came to the Amusement Park; we were the
remants of what was left of Capital Hill at Geocities. There are very few around though
here left from those days in Cardonia and the Park that I know, though my roleplay roots
are still here.
