Our sis did open her eyes the other day before going back to sleep, and is once again non-responsive.
She has coded several times and the extent of the damage as a result will not be known unless she regains consciousness.

I think ... maybe ... I met her in the room once. But I know she is well loved by all, and have added her to my prayers.

As of the last conversation with a Family Member which was last night.. and please forgive the fact I didn't get this up last night....Nexi is still holding on.. Her family is faced with alot of tough decisions.. She is still in a comatose state, but is breathing on her own. I will be in a state of constant checking and will let the family of Tuchuk know what is going on as the information comes available. Her family has asked that those that have her msn to not hound them... this is a very difficult and trying time for them. I ask that we lift not only Nexi as she battles.. but her family as well in high prayer.

she hasnt said anything yet but she knows where she is. docs have her doing the yes/no eye blinking thing. they put her on oxygen again but hasnt put her on the respirator. a neuro doc says theres most likely some damage but hoping that this is only going to affect short term memory loss.

this is the update as of about 6:50 pm central time tonight...
shes awake- think i told you last time. shes been talking on her own but its hard to hear her b/c of her throat being torn up by the respirator. shes confused and a little upset b/c of how long shes been out. docs thinking she has some short term memory loss.
Nexi has got a long road ahead of her.... but she has been asking about MTC to her family... I have relayed messages on....lets please remain in constant prayer.. with the battles that lay ahead she will need all the strength we can give...

slips out of character and says to ALL: Nexhias is alive after her surgery this afternoon. What they basically did, was put the donor heart in, while keeping her heart also within her body. This allows for both hearts to do the work, while her heart either recovers, or they figure out another solution. The Doctor is optimistic. But, as they say, live one day at a time to their fullest, our time may be short with her, but we will love her for a lifetime.

It is time to let our Tuchuk family know what is happening.
Our Ubara is unconscious and unresponsive. Her heartrate is slowing and her blood oxygen level is at 85. Her kidneys are starting the shutdown process.
Her Dr feels there may be a procedure that could help, but hospital brass will not give the go-ahead to perform the procedure.
At this point her Mother is trying to get her transfered to a facility where her Dr will be permitted to try.
It seems all we can do now is hope and pray.

I love you and there isn't a day you aren't in my thoughts or prayers, and the circle is growing larger, for you have now become an adopted sister in my family, deemed by my mom and sister... there aren't many that make that rank, which means they know how special you are to me, therefore are to them... besides, this just means you get things my sister and I don't get, because mom didn't have to raise, feed and pay for your fashion phases... ~laughs~

while i have been crazy busy with my own RT life, i was devastated to hear of Nex's passing. i remember the crazy posts in Camp, how She always treated me like i mattered and how She always said She would love me no matter what my Gorean station in life happened to be. the Woman behind Nex was a special person and though i never got the chance to meet Her in life, i will never...ever...forget Her in death either.

i can remember the good times which is when she was trying to help and aid me..when especially she hit me over the head with that frying pan lol
when i tramped mud and whatever into the Ubars and her wagon i had to clean it up and everything else, she had told me just go with the flow, dont let it ire you
so much that you mess up laugh and go with it...my prayers and thoughts of my Sister are always of her...She will be loved, honored, and cherished to this day in my heart

Nexhias, I had only met you once briefly when I was Maximus and attended the Companionship ceremony for you and Ragnar. I had enjoyed being there witnessing that event and know that your family and friends here miss you, judging by the posts before (and probably after) me.
