On Tuesday night, after attending the Genovese Enterprises board meeting, Anne Heche, Angela Black and I stopped in a restaurant for a drink. While Anne ordered the wine, I went to the restroom where I found a women yelling at a poor young lady that was merely using the restroom to wash her face.

I interceded, hoping to calm down the situation, but the lady claiming to be the restaurant manager wouldn't let up. She wanted top toss the young lady out. I remembered my early days in New York City, when I barely had enough to eat or a decent place to sleep.

I tried to bring her to our table, but the manager kept screaming, saying she had to leave. I threw some money on the table and told her she just lost three good customers. We took the young lady with us in a taxi to the Brooklyn Heights Mall. She said her name was Angel Jones and she'd only been in the city for a few days. She lost her back pack with her meager belongings, including what was left of the $500 her grandmother gave her when she left the farm in Nebraska.

She hadn't eaten in two days so I picked up the tab and few her a decent meal at Applebee's. I told her I needed a trustworthy maid and offered her the job. It's only a two bedroom loft on Staten Island, but I'm extremely busy now with both my modeling career and as the Staten Island council woman.

She accepted my offer of $15 an hour plus free room and board. At least she'll now have a roof over her head and a plenty of food while she decides what she really wants to do in New York City.

I left Angel sleeping on Wednesday morning since she obviously needed the rest. She was up and around by the time I got home after my council meeting. She said she read my note and had found things in the cupboards and fridge for breakfast and lunch. \

I took her over to the nearby mall, and we shopped at Macy's. I bought her two pairs of designer jeans, several cute tops that were on sale, a cute skirt and a white blouse.

Then it was Victoria's Secret for a six pack of plain white cotton panties, a bikini I liked and a thong and bra set she chose off the sale rack Two nice sexy night gowns and a six pack of socks wrapped up our shopping spree.

She kept saying I could deduct the cost for the day from her wages, but I laughed, saying she could start paying her own way next week.

When we arrived home, I walked her around the apartment and showed her where I kept the vacuum sweeper and the cleaning tools and materials. Her job was simply to keep the house clean, do the weekly laundry and cook for us once in a while. Other than that she was free to wander around the city and decide what she wanted to do with her future.
