...I fully agree with you, Rags, it really should be illegal to call someone at home, and try to get them to buy something that they hadn't ordered. Don't we get charged for using our phones? If someone shows up at your door...you just close it.

I am living with my elderly mother...and I have taken over answering the landline. I look at the return number and the name...her phone is programmed...and if it is a friend I will say, "Hello...wait a minute"...I will then bring the phone to her. If I don't recognize the number...I pull my thick Mexican accent out of my back pocket...along with my weak and elderly 'Old Womans Voice'...and slowly say..."Buenas dias, que estas?" They usually hang up, right away...although a couple times I had to repeat my phrase before they hung up.

I just better hope that I don't get a bilingual caller...I will have to say a VERY RUDE English phrase BEFORE I HANG UP!!! *JDL*
